saving cord blood is on the rise, with legislation in many states to support public banking.
too bad the wts is against cord blood transplants: *** w97 2/1 p. 29 questions from readers ***.
if there is very good reason to believe that such a practice is followed in the hospital where a christian will give birth, it would be proper simply to direct the physician that the placenta and the umbilical cord should be disposed of, not used in any way.. interesting fact from the story below: umbilical cord blood is less likely to contain infectious diseases than bone marrow, and the immune cells from donated cord blood are less likely to attack the patient.

i'm worried because i sent a christmas card plus had a gift sent by ups over the internet about 7 days ago and haven't heard anything.
i would feel really feel bad if my person didin't receive their gift or card.
so i think we need to have an official post place.
My silly! I thanked someone (anonymous) earlier for a music cd, but I just received some great perfumes from JStalin. Thank you, thank you.
The other secret santa must have been from Thomschat, which was organised way later than this one.
Hope everyone got their Secret Santa gifts.
it took a little time to figure out what to write about for my very first tip.
i thought to myself, "well, what makes dating work?
kino?
Good one Nos,
You will hear a variety (and sometimes combination) of some of the above excuses not to date you. However, they all mean the same thing - NO. If you fail to take her first NO, then you will be wasting your time pursuing the fantasy of her eventually saying "yes".
This one reminds me of "dumb and dumber.............
Lloyd: What are the chances of a guy like you and a girl like me... ending up together?
Mary: Well, that's pretty difficult to say.
Lloyd: Hit me with it! I've come a long way to see you, Mary. The least you can do is level with me. What are my chances?
Mary: Not good.
Lloyd: You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?
Mary: I'd say more like one out of a million.
[pause]
Lloyd: So you're telling me there's a chance.
question, can someone with the heavenly hope lose their position?
Not sure, but I guess if Satan can lose his position in heaven then it can happen to anyone?!
hi, im new here but have been looking at lots of web sites for exjw's and i can't seem to get any answer in what im looking for.. i have a bit of a delemia i am df and my dad (jw) is getting remarried to a jw in march and i am wanting to go but the thing is i haven't been to a kh for a very long time and where they are getting married is the one that i grew up in and for this not sure where i am to sit.
do i have the right to sit in the front row or do i have to treat it like a normal meeting?.
can anyone shed any light on this?.
Hi, and welcome to the forum
Again, I agree with what was said previously, you can sit where ever you want. But again, if you are trying to be respectful of your father, you may want to ask your father what he would feel comfortable with what you do.
I was going to say something similar to the above quote. Yes it is your right to sit anywhere you damn well want to..........but this is your fathers special day.
It might be best to talk to him about what he would like for you to do.
After saying that I must say that I sat down the front for my sisters wedding over 20 years ago, I was faded, not df. The family had shunned for about a year but we reconciled/reunited before the wedding. I found out about the engagement from a notice in the newspaper. My parents swore they would never shun again.
Hope it all works out for you whatever you decide to do, please let us know how it all goes.
Best wishes

i've recieved some feedback about doing dating tips here on jwd, and so i've decided to go ahead with it.. a lot of what i will be posting may appear to be a bit sexist, and it defeats a lot of what feminism stands for, but what i post is what i find works.
i'm not going to post a bunch of re-hashed garbage that society thinks should be the standards for dating, because most of it doesn't get results.
all of what i post is going to be from personal experience.
Neg Hit - An insult disguised as a compliment. Example: "That's a nice wooly purse! Did your grandma knit that?"
heheh, Nos said wooly purse..............
Is that a bit like a Scotsman's hairy sporran?!
many of us came out of the jws with very little dating experience under our belts (married or not), and a lot of us were very lost when it came to the opposite sex.
the wts didn't help us learn how to pick a woman, how to court her, or even how to have sex with her.
there's a lot of horror stories about first jw sexual encounters, and a lot of horror stories about dating after leaving the org.. i made it a goal to catch up on my dating experience after i deprogrammed myself, and i learned a lot about the competitive and tricky dating world.
OK Nos, give us your best Mel Gibson take on "What women want"
Over here in England all we do is say "Get your coat love - you've pulled."
Clam, Clam, Clam...........You had me at hello!
just a little breaking news:.
after several years of a great friendship with diane (previously posted as xena) things have started to really come together recently and i've succumbed to making an honest woman of her (or at least as honest as it's possible to make her.
last night (xmas day) i popped the question and she agreed to marry me (i wonder if she knows what she's let herself in for!!!)..
Yay, Xena's back.........
I'm off to harass my better (cough) half to start a renga now I can participate again.
haha, gonna get comfortable
