The warnings were TRUE
by unique1 inyou know all the myspace.com warnings that were on here about elders on a witch hunt searching for active jw's blogs and using them against them?
well the elders didn't search but an old aquaintenance did.
she was disfellowshipped for her blogs concerning all the casual sex she was having.

unique1, I think what happens sometimes is that some posts are made before ALL the threads have been read.
Perhaps someone has just scanned through a handful of posts and replied on that basis.
I guess the rule is; 'get in first or read all the comments'I've learned that I need to be much more careful about how I phrase things here because of the lack of all the visual and aural cues.
Best wishes, Pete -

Are you a perfectionist?
by prophecor indon't you just drive everybody else craxy with your little totalitarian molecularly managed world?.
drives my folks nuts.
i can't seem to get out of my own way.. .

I am a bit like prophecor. I have dozens of projects but I can't bear to begin the next one until the first one is absolutely right. If necessary, I'll tear it apart and do it again until it is right. And then I'll minimise the effort to any one that might admire it.
Of course, just being a perfectionist doesn't necessarily mean you make a good job of anything! -

Anyone ever seen a ghost?
by Clam inhave you ever seen a "ghost"?
if you did, were you scared, fascinated or straight to denial?.
if you did see one, were you a jw at the time and therefore did you believe it to be an apparition projected by the demons?

"I'd be very interested to hear any stories, as well as being told to grow up because they don't exist."
Grow up because they don't exist.( happy to oblige!)(insert smiling emoticon here).
Clam, I've got six kids and my wife starts training as a midwife next week.

i wanted to mention, to all active jehovah's witnesses, that a brother has called to my attention that he is being harassed by apostates.
