What should I do for the women I care about who seem to constantly get involved with abusive men and wont leave them? If you 'take them out' you're in the gun for interfering with their relationships. It's very confusing to me.
What should I do?

A question for the men on this forum.
by restrangled ini've read so many posts from the men on this forum.
how many of you are are willing to defy the society, and defend your wives, sister, and/or daughters in the face of this religion?.
just a question not a threat.. r. .

What a wonderful song that was! -

"But if I've learned one thing, it is fate has a sick sense of humor as I realized that I had fallen in love with a witness girl."-be sure to stay tuned for the next exciting episode of Forbidden Love.
Welcome Paralipopenon, great story.
Your framed programme reminded me of the elders suggestion that if you were inclined to put pictures of pop stars on your wall you'd do better to put up pictures of the GB. -

I have just read the thread Gary. I am so terribly sorry about Brian. The weight of sadness must be huge.
The kindest of thoughts to you.

Was this really a smart choice of words?
by sammielee24 ini was watching pres bush in a speech telling the world that he is 'compelled' and 'driven by a higher power'.
that god wants him to give people around the world freedom.
that 'this crusade', the usa is on.............well...that was part of it and i sat there thinking.

''driven by a higher power'. That God wants him to give people around the world freedom. '!!
This is the language of a radical religious man. Has George W. ever made these quasi-religious statements before?
Does George believe he's the new messiah? And should I feel glad he's on my side?

BTW, unless you're trading up to get substantially more MP's or a bigger sensor area, I would be more inclined to spend my money or the best quality lenses you can afford, especially if it's a zoom.

What is this 'digital' thing you speak of? REAL photography is done on film!! *sigh*. I still love the smell of my darkroom and I use a Mamiya 645 a lot.
The best site on digital gear is 'dpreview'. Absolutely exhaustive in it's testing. -

Has the "House" TV show had its run? (possible spoiler)
by AlmostAtheist inguys, i love the tv show "house".
hugh laurie is perfect in the role, great supporting actors, deep character development.
the plotlines are a little formulaic, but all the dialog and character interaction makes it ok. .

I just sit there wondering how Hugh Lawrie keeps up his gravelly American accent!!
I just can't get past seeing him as The Prince Regent (or some other well meaning nit-wit) from Blackadder. -

Does Anyone Really Believe They Can Knock Out The Watchtower???
by minimus ini think it will be around for years to come.
i do think that we can put the word out about this cult and help people get out or not join them in the first place.
but we'll never obliterate them, in my opinion.

No, it's a market driven religion. As long as there are buyers there will be the WT product. Like cigarettes, as sales fall off in the first world, then the promotion takes off in the third world.
