I don't. I think it will be around for years to come. I do think that we can put the word out about this cult and help people get out or not join them in the first place. But we'll never obliterate them, in my opinion.

    Min,

Did you have to bring up such a nasty thought now? I just ate supper for crying out loud.

No, but I have seen groups fight a process or procedure in government and get it changed.

I think about civil rights for blacks, the vote for women, the current battle of SNAP against the Catholic Church re clergy sexual abuse.

But it takes money, time, energy and endurance and the support of like minded people to make changes. The changes the Catholic Church has made have been small, and that organization is still here.

Does it have to be all or nothing?

Depressing thought, but I agree with you min, they will be around for some years yet.

I do think their membership will start to decline though as this "system" lurches on with no end in sight, and more people start to research their beliefs, Less will be fooled by the regular beams of "new light", and pretty soon they will virtually only be baptising kids of jws, but there will be a wts for quite a few years to come.

Not by myself. But if each one of us removes just one brick from the Tower, it will eventually fall.

Eventually, all organizations, good and evil, disapear to be replaced by other institutions. Active effort might speed that process sometimes.

I don't feel it's all or nothing. But I do think we must be realistic. Anti Catholic groups must've been giddy to think that the molestations by priests would destroy the Church. It didn't happen. Jehovah's Witnesses are not that significant.

As long as the WTS continues to slyly change doctrine and policy to keep up with the times and they continue to revise their history in a way to cover up a lot of the controversies, they'll be here much longer than any of us.

They may not be the force they once were, but they'll survive. They'll adapt and keep finding new recruits and their offspring.

That's not to say that those who put up a hard fight to expose them should just give up...it is a noble cause...we just have to be realistic about the end result.
