  german "akzenta ag" was founded by some jw elders.

  it is some financial scheme (mlm) that many perceive as untrustworthy.

  many of employees and clients (especially the first ones) are jw.. .

  those 85 complaintants couldn't be jws. they would never complain to the police about their brother stealing from them would they? i'm thinking somewhere there are a number of unhappy jws who are saying to themselves..."it can't be true. it must be some sort of persecution. i will get my money back, i will get my money back plus a nice profit just like brother bigthief said...but even if it is true, jehovah doesn't want me to complain because bringing a prominent elder thief to account for his thefts would bring dishonor to prominent elder thieves... the watchtower bible and tract society of (fill in the blank)...Jehovah...yes thats it, it will shame, not the people who stole, but god who tells them not to steal...that god would rather have thieves running things than have outsiders know that there are thieves running things."

  what a sick and twisted web they weave. i've thought for a long time that money is the borg's and every other religion's achille's heel, because it is almost the only thing governments have an interest in. most governments don't get involved in doctrine or dogma or internal politics. every government wants to be involved in the money. governments in general don't care if you are pagan or presbyterian.

  the more i dwell on it, the more embarassed i am that i was ever a witness.

  i always found the insistance on using the "official vocabulary" to be weird. if you don't use the "proper" term you may as well be speaking klingon. if you can't understand what i mean if i say "the man on the stage" instead of "the brother on the platform" then you my friend are not only weird but you are also ignorant. i made a conscience decision early on to refuse to learn the lingo and it has served me well in talking to people who don't use jw speak.

  while writing this, and trying to think of examples, i asked my wife (baptised in mid '70s) what was the official word for the " bulletin board"... she didn't have any idea and neither do i. lol

  one thing i would advise anyone studying with the society is don't learn the language!

  with the hotting up of the wt articles about not listening to apostate lies.

  i was wondering, when you where in the borg did you ever wonder what these "lies" were.. its a strange thing but i never did.

  i never even knew what they said about us and i didnt care.. in other walks of life, if you hear that someone has been lied about, you usually want to know what it is (well i do cos im nosey) but in all my 20 years i didnt wonder about what the apostates were saying.

  once a dub always a dub. except when talking about important apostates that there is a difference between an ignorant bethel elder and an equally ignorant jwd elder.

  all bethelite's are stupid, selfish pawns---except for the ex-bethelites who have a book to sell. these are seen as shining examples of what jehovah's witnesses ought to be.

  your worth to this forum is in direct proportion to the number of posts on your post history and your intelligence and knowledge is summed up by the number of topics you have posted (including such topics as---what are you wearing? where are you going on saturday? oral sex...is talking dirty included? and the ever popular--- America, the great satan or just another cess pool?

  this (fill in the blank) will bring the borg to its knees.

  i have seen these things on evey xjw site i have seen, which isn't all of them because i got bored seeing the same things over and over.

  so does this mean we should quit blaming the men for writing all that crapola and start blaming give credit to the women for writing all that crapola? i haven't read very much of russell's writing so i can't say whether he/she/they wrote all or part of any of the publications. i believe anything either or both wrote was purged as a result of rutherford's hostile takeover of the assets of the wtb&ts and the resulting "apostate war" between him and the russellites. if i were barbara anderson, mariah russell, or any other woman who has worked as a writer for the borg, i don't think i would be in a hurry to claim authorship of anything that was deemed acceptable by the con-men who have run the jws since at least 1919. would you want anyone to know that you had anything to do with anything that ever made it to the former "Quotes" site? i don't think i would.
