  so, even back when i was a true believer i noticed this... .

  this watchtower study today, i just got back from, was all about how great the elders are.

  what always wigs me out about these things (because they trot this stuff out in a wt study every year or two) is how the elder conducting the study is up there talking about and praising the elders in the third person, saying how great they are, when he is an elder.

  how dumb and pathetic.. no extra training should be necessary for even slightly trained and disciplined soldiers.

  i guess it is for some of the rabble that the us call "troops" though.. of course the real problem is not just those on the ground that have committed the latest attrocity.

  it is the chain of command that tried to cover it up and all the way up to the president who sanctions bombing of civilian targets with nothing more than rumour for "intelligence".. from now on america, you are on your own.

  never try to use questionable statistics to try prove a questionable premise. because what your little list shows me is that ireland with a population of 4 million is as corrupt as a country of 296 million. (2.5=2.5 not 2.5<2.5) that the united kingdom a country with a population of 5 million people is half as corrupt as a country almost 6 times its size. and that luxemburg with a total of 80,000 people is as corrupt as the u.k. and the u.s. is less corrupt than all but 14 other countries. well whoop de do. as i said they are all corrupt.

  thank you for exhibiting such insight and attitude. if it wasn't for people like you, ones who have been on this forum forever and are still full of watchtower shit, i don't think i could carry on. if it wasn't for posts like yours i might feel a certain amount of anxiety over the fact that i haven't completely embraced the apostate dogma and i have yet to pray to you for advice. if ignorance is your choice i say so be it. ignore away. do you really think i have no experience with being ignored? as far as elaborating is concerned, don't bother. i don't believe you could elaborate your butt with both hands. but, if you do attempt to elaborate, i wouldn't ignore you because you need all the help you can get. over 9,000 posts and this is the best you can do---ignore me. how truly sad.

  oh and by the way, this world can't end soon enough.

  that poor little girl couldn't be one that simon was talking about. she isn't american and she doesn't have a gun.

  or perhaps you mean america is responsible for other countries terrorists...if the picture is of a boznian/serb situation how is that amerika's responsibility? how about pakistani/indian? or hutu/tutsi? dare i mention english/irish? other countries don't need this country to breed their terrorists for them...so far they have been doing that on their on. in palistine it seems all they have done for thousands of years is breed and terrorize. always with god on their side and heavan as their reward. jehovah does not think blowing up school buses is heroic, allah does not think blowing up school buses is heroic. only idiots blow up school buses and think it is heroic.

  as for those who cry innocent before being found guilty...they will be punished if found guilty,etc. i say garbage. if you truly believe this fairytale you are as gullible as any jw ever was. there is no justice in any government. but, unfortunately, their is no lack of people who will show their loyalty by covering up things like this. there is no lack of homegrown terrorists in every country of the world or govenments to cover them over. this world cannot end soon enough.

  Dad tries to comfort me with the Resurrection hope

  my son jake graduated from high school a couple of weeks ago and my dad sent him a nice sum of grad money, as a gift and to tell him how proud he was of him.

  also in the card was to remind of his upbringing as a jw and that in time he hopes he embraces it again.

  when ginger died he came to the funeral and we started talking again , after 3 years of silence.

  your story is so sad and not that different for ours. when our daughter died the only thing that saved my wife was the hope of seeing her again. there isn't anything in the world that would make me happier than for that to be true. i would never do anything to destroy that hope. it is sad that when we leave the org we feel we must abandon even those things that give us comfort. some people believe their loved ones come back as dogs, cats, etc. i think this is silly but i would never want to rob them of their hope. grief is such a profoundly personal thing, and we deal with it the best we can. i do hope you are reunited with your loved ones.
