One of the best and cleanest layout of changing nature of dates in jehovah-land is found in Wikipedia. Funny how ignorant of all this when I was in. Oh well.....

Does WTS claim that Jesus 2nd presence was in 1874 or 1914? (non-JW asks)
by whyizit ini'm not a jw, nor have i ever been, so some of the things that my jw friends tell me just don't seem to make sense.
to avoid conflict in our friendship, sometimes i just let things slide, rather than argue.
i am, however, a bible-believing, non-denominational christian who reads and studies the bible frequently, and loves yahweh.. my jw friend just slipped yet another wt magazine in my door and it says that: "jesus christ began to rule as king of god's kingdom in 1914.

Keep up making the music!
Not so much a critisim about your music as a comment about the weakness of computer generated music in general: It is really difficult to put dynamics in and even harder to put in "human" dynamics.
One thing I noticed in power and glory, I can almost imagine a mission impossible type drumming/bass there which would make the music more snappy and less plodding. Your melodies and harmonies sound quite nice.
On mystified I cant quite put my finger on it, but some of the rythmn section shifts don't flow quite right to my ear. Once again thumbs up on the harmony and melody!
This last year I've been hitting the drumming thing hard, which is why im more keyed into that. You said you made both of these in one day? Damn. Grats. -

Toilet etiquette local needs....not so uncommon at the spanish congregations, but for the opposite problem.
If you come from 2nd or 3rd world countries, you do not flush the "tp". The plumbing can't handle it and you'll find a waste basket next to the toliet.
So after enough studies come and the clean up crews start whinning enough, presto, local needs talk.
I remember being quite embarassed for the brotha giving the talk. -

President Bush wants to spy on us? Can we spy on him as well?

What I don't get is, why would you trust President Bush (or any President or government agency)? It's not like he is friend, family, employer, or even someone you've even greeted. He is just a stranger. As such we can only hope he is doing the "right" thing.
I am also aware the this freedom (from bill o' rights, courts, rule of law) is in a lot of ways a clever illusion. But still, it's my illusion and most every other U.S. citizens too. So as President wouldnt you expect him to at least respect or acknowldge the nations discomfort with his actions? So far I've been uncomfortable with the explainations or rather lack of them. To say that I am better protected because Team America is watching over my back also doesn't reasure me personally!
If I saw a peeping tom at my neighboors window, I would call the police. Who do you call when the police are peeping in your window? -

Multiple Universes are aliens actual divine beings of the Bible
by zagor inthis is a topic i wanted to have a discussion about for quite some time but didnt know if anyone at all would be interested.
there is quite a buzz in scientific community in last 10 years about real possibility that our universe is only one of say 10 to the power of 500 universes around all in their separate dimensions.
such a notion is truly mind-boggling when you think of what the implications really are.

String theory and multiple universes were peer reviewed?
Until they are, all I have to say is those subjects are way cool to ponder when you're in an "altered state".
Although considering the universe we live is seemingly infinate in size, having to exlore more of them would make the head ache. :-) -

What did you do with your literature when you left?
by ontarget inwhat did you do with your literature when you left?
i burned my literature except for the wt cd which i sold on ebay.
i did not want to just throw the literature away as i did not want the trash man to read it and become a witness.

I initially wanted to trash all of it, but decided the "christian" thing to do would be to give my local family the chance to donate it to some lucky person/congo's library. They held onto it for a while, I guess hoping that it was a phase.
Ended up my df'd brother got them. He had qualms, like me, about throwing books away, since were bookworms. Once my brother found out they had some value, he is or shortly will be putting it up on ebay, especially since he has a child on the way he can use the extra cash.
