  I walked into a JW convention - well, sort of

  skeeter family love ice hockey.

  we go to public skating sessions to stretch our legs.

  one of the nearby skating rinks is called germain arena.

  Second weekend, this time the Spanish Congregations converged on my rink. This time, the game wasn't right at lunch break. We only had a few straggler JWs come into the recreation rinks, mainly to get coffee and such. The Spanish congregations were not as large of a group, but they seemed younger. There was a group of young men who happen to go out afterwards, to the same restaurant as our team. Some were wearing their name tags . . . . Oh, I just want to scream, but kept in in.

  I understand that the JWs will be at Germain for the next 2 weekends. Anyone stop by to see a hockey game?

  Sunday's Drama @ convention!!! OMG!!!

  the drama -- i basically laughed hysterically!

  i guess marriages are breaking up left and right within the organization.

  a couple got married young.

  At least the drama didn't have a sister being beaten by her husband, and told to stick with the marraige!

  ok, today i was invited to go my favorite local radio station (94.7 sacramento) and record some stuff about my favorite playlist.

  i had submitted this list about a month ago and got the call on monday to come on down to the radio station.

  i took my hubby, got to meet the dj (a very cool and nice guy indeed) and just had a very nice time.

  i had submitted this list about a month ago and got the call on monday to come on down to the radio station.

  The reason I love the song Sailing is becuase it captures the voyage. I can see the sun dance on the watertop when I hear this song. Please, someone, post this video. I can't do it.

  Does anyone have the curriculum, notes, books, course, anything for jw schools?

  It is my understanding that the people who attend the Elder schools are allowed to take notes. But, they are absolutely prohibited from recording the school in any way, shape, or form. This way, the WTS can always argue that the elder "heard it wrong."

  my dad now an ex witnesses was visited last sunday by an active witness who said that during the special talk in the assembly in colchester england they would be advised to begin stockpiling food and water for what could a economic meltdown!.

  my dad reminded him about the ancient israelites who relied on jehovah and were provided with mana after their escape from egypt, the point was lost on him!.

  have the governing body become a pseudo survivalist regime, and where is their faith!!.
