  before even realising there was an issue with the 607 bce chronology and finding my way to this site and others, i had secret issues in the back of my mind which i would never discuss with anyone based on my "standing" in the congregation.

  1. rev 20:5 "and the rest of the dead did not come to life after the thousand years were ended" - i don't get the chronology of this verse.

  it says to me that the rank and file are not ressurrected until after the thousand year reign???.

  i'll never forget the time the circuit and district overseers told the elders that from now on the elders would be solely responsible for all judicial matters and that if anyone was going to get sued, it was not going to be the society.

  at that point, the 2 overseers laughed outloud.

  i knew we were going to get screwed for sure because the watchtower society was already setting us up.
