  The Fathers name is NOT JEHOVAH it is not possibly
  wrong it is definitly wrong. Stephen and I were recently
  told by two elderly elders it is used because it is widely
  accepted. Isn't the CROSS widely accepted. Don't you
  think the FATHERS name is more important to make a point over than the way the SON died?

  If Jesus is in charge of his remnant which you also say,
  and these so called spritually anointed remnant appoint
  these so called qualified elders why all the mistakes my
  brother. Aren't these elders nothing more than political hacks
  who just follow thier leaders or face losing thier congressional
  seat. Just like the pols once enthroned their seat is for life.

  When I first came in the "LIES" the awake was full of stories
  about priest and alter boys(of which I was one). My Mom
  would say aren't you glad your not part of that anymore,
  thats just disgusting. The Priests I served weren't pedaphlies
  they were drunks. But now when the whistle blower is having
  what he "Blew" and worse thrown back in his face well you
  know" we are all imperfect." You can stick that statement right
  up your ass all the way and see how it feels to YOU.
  I can only hope that the WBTS gets it so hard that they can
  never be stiched together again.

  I'm sorry if I offended anyone put in the world according to

  Watchtower Stock Gamblers?

  it was recently pointed out in another thread, the business mode of certain organizations to persuade people who have accrued a substantial estate to turn their holdings over to the organization in return for which the organization agrees to support them with a certain agreed income for the remainder of their life.

  the advantage for the organization comes with investing the money in stock or bond funds for an anticipated higher return than they expect to pay to the invester/doner, as well as getting the whole thing after the investor dies without any inheritance penalty.

  (is this a fair statement of the issue?).

  Seems to me if you INVESTED in Bill Russell and the
  Boston Celtics for those ten years you would have made
  a lot more money than 12% more like 12000%. Talk about
  a sure thing. What of Koufax, Gibson, Palmer and Seaver
  in their hay days------yes they did lose games but over
  their 10 years of greatness if you invested the same every
  time they pitched, again your gain would be much more than
  12%.

  When my Dad started studing back in the early 70's he had
  a HUGH gambling problem. The Elder he studied with did
  the JW sufffle on the problem to get him to stop. Problem
  this most highly regarded elder had HUGE stock holdings.
  Dad never saw the difference at all he still dosen't. NOBODY
  buys stocks praying for it to go down. As for dividends and the
  long haul Invest in Sports. Nebraska will cover the 60 point
  spread, Duke will get to the sweet sixteen, Yankees and Atlanta
  will make the playoffs---------MICHAEL WILL HIT LAST SHOT!!!!!!

  US cops arrest 6 yr old..

  yup i bet the boy learnt a lesson alright............. a six-year-old boy from florida has been arrested for kicking his pregnant mother in the stomach.. the woman decided to call in the police after her son attacked her during an argument.. mattie ashley says she hopes it will serve as a learning experience for the boy, who suffers from hyperactivity disorder.. he has been suspended from kindergarten for kicking a pregnant teacher previously.. mrs ashley said she hoped the police involvement would scare the boy into realising what he did was wrong.. but police said they were not in the business of being used to scare children and refused to let her son go when mrs ashley said she was dropping the charges.. sheriff's deputy jennifer jazdzyk wrote in the arrest report: "i explained to mrs ashley that if she wanted a criminal investigation to take place that it would be followed through to the end, that we were not going to just scare the child with the presence of a deputy.".

  the boy, who was not named, was released when state department of juvenile justice officials, who were contacted after his arrest, ordered deputies to release him.. .

  Happiness

  the wtbts is looking to the perfection of the obedient humans in happiness.

  but they have also acknowledged the psychological truth that happiness is not a state we can arrive at, but is a process of change, transformation and book selling.. my question is, is the idea of humanity ever being perfectly happy fundamentally flawed?

  do we need to be discontent as humans in order to continue human progress, transformation etc and gain temporary happiness along the way?

  Happiness is a mind thing, unless you are being raped
  or tortured ect...... . Every second of our lives we CHOSE
  to be happy or not. Chosing is part of being a "perfect"
  human---whole new thread for that thought. It is not
  something brought on by some condition or event if
  so then it would be fleeting. It can not be a humanity
  thing(plural) it's a human thing (singular). Everyone
  of us ware a pair of ruby slippers it is our CHOICE
  whether to click them or not.

  Enjoy the day all it's the only one you have----of course
  it is your CHOICE.

  Shepherding Calls and Depression

  when we lived in west helena, arkansas, the elders would only make their "shepherding calls" when the circuit overseer was down to visit.

  they would give my mom pat answers like "the new sytem will be here soon" and "you don't know what problems really are, my pipes busted last week", etc.

  one elder really did want to help us it seemed, but he was prevented by the other elders who told him "we knoe them better than you do, we will handle it".

  Idiots came to my house a while back because I was
  inactive and they heard very bad bad things about me.
  The CO was coming and they must get all ducks in a
  row. They came I told them I had lost my job and had
  bigger problems then them to deal with. Yea but do
  you want to be a JW-----As always I asked a question
  they had know answer for and with tail between their
  legs left. My two boys were on the couch that day the
  idiots never asked if I had enough food in the house
  or if I could pay the rent. Man could I FEEL the LOVE.

  You can tell the true followers by there love of one another,
  man what can't the lemmings see oops there go some
  more off the cliff.
