do you think that the jw's in your congregation care if you're living your life to the fullest or if you're happy?.

The dubs are nothing more than an ongoing behavior modification experiment where care is only expressed in terms of how closely you follow rules. They're like a herd of geese. If one gets shot down they rest just keep honking at each other. I heard a talk about that once at a district convention by a CO that you shouldn't feel bad if you're called a bird-brain and likened publishers to honking geese.

Would women make good elders? Not any more than the elders would make good women. The meaning of the word elder is "older man."

this subject came up at work and has got me thinking, is this really a requirement that god enforces?

a lot of churches say it is a mandate of the bible?

does it make a difference to your spirituality if you give or not?

I got baptised yesterday!
