  anybody ever wonder about what went on prior to the creation of adam?

  it's only been 6 thousand years which in terms of counting backwards eternity-wise from that point is a long time.

  Does anyone get frustrated by the speculations of Weather Forecasters?

  for example yesterday here was the official forecast at 11am.

  1057 am cst sat dec 22 2007 ...winter storm warning remains in effect until 6 am cst sunday... a winter storm warning remains in effect until 6 am cst sunday.

  snow will increase across the warned area this afternoon from southwest to northeast.

  i read with sadness the various travails of those who are in and want out but haven't, mostly for the sake of family, the unmitigated temerity to df the borg, and are just waiting for the inevitable kangaroo miscarriage of justice by a jc to pull your plug, and then consoling yourself with thinking that the hounders may have had a sleepless night or two once they'd done their dirty business.

  of course you know that after a night or two they've deleted you from their hard drives, so the consolation is pretty much short-lived.

  but it seems to me that to give, not only the hounders, but the whole circuit lingering and on-going second thoughts, that maybe they're the ones who are in the wrong and how many others there might be, is when they don't get a chance to hang some bum rap you, and you give them the pink slip.

  The BCS Bowl Extravaganza Is About To Begin. ARE You READY?

  well, now that a bunch of sports writers and computer geeks have determined that the outcome of the national champeenship has been decided, it will be interesting to see if hawaii will go undefeated and then watch with bated breath as twice beaten lsu is crowned #1. whew..gets me all doubled up with emotion.

  of course this has made all the other bowls irrelevant, imho, and i'm not even a fan as it seems more entertaining to listen to the talking heads and analysts than it is to actually follow what's going on down on the gridiron.

  kind of like listening to weather forecasters see how close they can come to actual results, like last night predicting 6-12 inches of snow but only 3-4 actually fell.
