  on the off chance one of them is perusing this board looking for ammunition, i want them to get this message loud and clear:.

  you did more damage to your cause with your disgusting behavior this last weekend than we ever could have hoped to do.

  your unparalleled hipocrisy was noticed by all.

  National Marrow Donor Program

  for anyone who might be interested www.marrow.org is an excellent resource for more information on how to become a marrow donor and what it entails.

  some people were asking on ian's thread what they could do to help, this site can help them answer that.. as an organ donor, i can tell you firsthand how amazing it is to be the one to help improve someones life so dramatically.

  getting on the marrow registry is something i have considered for a long time but never acted on.

  they caught me off guard...

  okay, i just had a very nice witness lady at my door giving me my own personal copy of a very important message.

  i had a whole "presentation" memorized to get her to think, but i couldn't do it.

  she seemed really nice and kind of nervous and i instantly felt sorry for her and took the dang thing.

  To disassociate or not?

  late last year my husband and i, with our children, moved to a new state and decided to leave the organization after much research and soul searching.

  our intent was to just fade quietly away in order to maintain certain family relationships, but thanks to a couple of militant dubs who were assigned to find out what was going on with us, we were outed.

  even though we haven't made any comments other than that there are certain things we don't agree with, we have been completely shunned.

  A fine witness

  i just felt like sharing my experience from the weekend, thanks in advance for letting me vent.. we travelled to our home state for the holiday, the first visit my husband has made home since christmas.

  his family (non-jw) held a "get together" on sunday so everyone could see him and visit.

  his brother, a witness, refused to attend even though he has not seen us in 5 months.

  Does this make any sense?

  okay, this is even confusing for me, so please try to bear with me.. i am working on a "presentation" to give to a jw family member to defend myself when the fade comes up.

  i want it to be something that will make them think and this is what i have come up with.. this person believes in the whole 1914 chronology bible prophecy crap and can't believe this isn't the truth when they are so right about the date.

  but i see a flaw with the way it was calculated and i need input to tell me whether i'm cracked or this might really work- get him to think.. according to the wts, "in prophecy, a year averages 360 days, or 12 months of 30 days each... so the kings "seven times," or seven years, were 360 days multiplied by 7, or 2,520 days.

  Nightmares?

  i don't know if anyone else has this problem or if i'm just crazy.

  i have been attempting to fade.

  my family recently moved to a new area and we have never attended the kh here.
