Early photographs indicate that Jesus had shaved off his beard at times but got a terrible case of excema and let it grow out before his crucifix photo shoot.

full report at: http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-29480874.
i'm not sure that any depictions have any significance, outside of the fat thact the artist and their patron, both agreed on a certain image.

I had a kangaroo ranch in that area for many years. It was a very unstable, up and down, market. Transitioned into boomerangs but never got decent returns. Sold out to a bunch of Tasmanian Devil worshipers who wanted to expand.

Even Pat Robertson's very successful 700 Club can only churn out about an hour of content per day to market in the vast TV churn. These are info-mercials for the most part. Haven't seen any Cheerios, Tide or Dodge ads to help pay for the time. Maybe I'm mistaken because I can never watch more than about 5 mins. of the syrupy s***t.
JW TV ? No way it would pencil.
JW streaming video? maybe. But not likely
CALL NOW ! ....But WAIT. Friday nights they show video of prohibited sexual activity just so nobody will be in the dark about what NOT to do.

The Goal of ISIS is to turn the west against Islam and to the capititalise on the backlash that reults from that..
by smiddy inwhile these idiots think beheading innocent aid workers journalists who have the welfare of the people at heart in these circumstances and then butchering them in such a barbaric manner is going to swing public opinion in their favour is beyond me .. if their is ever a reason to go on the ground including going into syria to rid this pox off the face of the earth this is the last straw and needs to be done now.. no more now pussyfooting around with barbaric medieval murderes , go in and annhillilate the bastards.
in the air on the ground and whatever it takes.. smiddy.

I appreciated Terry's essay above. The only clarification I need, to embrace it fully, is to clarify if he is saying that because these are immoral morons that society should just let them run their course rather than take ugly, moronic methods, with modern weaponry and "intelligence" to blow their moron brains out before more innocents are killed or they truly cripple our system of living.
As to the point of the thread it reminds of the Helter Skelter plan of Charles Manson. A moron for sure, but he oversaw the butchering of a lot of innocent people before he was stopped.

If we respect the jihadists and leave them alone, they will kill innocent people.
If we go to war to eradicate them, they will kill innocent people.
Seems pretty clear what needs to be done.

What exactly do the Governing body(TM) do?
by punkofnice ina genuine question really.. do they actually make desicions or are they simple sock puppets for the lawyers?.
are they just a front (like the queen is in the uk), with little or no desicion making input?.
do they just give talks and make appearances?.

I believe that the GB has to rely heavily on professional advisors, (lawyers for civil suits, lawyers for real estate holdings/transactions, accountants, Public relations, Managers who set up and schedule the circuit and district rallies. Purchasing agents for paper, ink, cardboard, etc.
What's missing above? Somebody has to decide doctrinal edicts, aka, "The Truth". Masturbation, sex practices in the marriage, grounds for divorce, containment of pedophile cases, blood, predicting s**t that they don't have a clue about and then figuring out how to deal with October 2, 2014 having come and gone.
Beats working for a living.

What makes people so greedy/jealous/unthankful
by hoser inthe owner of the company that i work for was talking to me today about his brother who chose a different line of business and makes more money than him.
he seems to be upset about his choice of work.
but when when i look around this guys yard he has done very well for himself but apparantly not as well as his brother.

When it comes to striving after material things some people take to it like a fish to water. Others, who don't have the drive but want 'things' anyway end up in debt and don't really get much enjoyment from what they have enslaved themselves for.
ambition (gray area) greed
Fine line between the two.

I watched a discussion of this that was related to the Oklahoma tragedy and one of the commentators made the observation that these victims are dead as soon as the knife is stuck into their neck. But the murderer goes through a fairly tedious butchering routine (remember they are using a big knife, not a sword that decapitates in an instant) to remove the head. This is pure Islam. Right out of the Quaran.
I saw the video of Alan Bergs murder a few years back. I refuse to watch any more of these bastards "murder porn".

Brings back memories of a man that a sister had called on in field service. She was very enthused about his interest in our message and he was ready for a Home BS. She came to me because I had met 'Harvey' in a backcall with her and she wanted me to take on the BS. I did. Turned out he agreed with everything and wanted all the publications he could get. I picked him up for meetings and we had him over for dinner. He lived in a modest little house about 2 miles from where we lived. Every so often he would just show up, having walked over.
(Cut to the chase, Gregor!)
OK, so he turned out to be a savant. His specialty were dates, weather of the day on that date and could name the date of the second wednesday in January ten years ago.
Finally, one day, It was at his house for our BS. He took me into a back room to show me his "library". He had rows of the Watchtowers brightly colored books. All lined up by color. Like, 15 "Truth" books (dark blue) so on and so forth. At least a dozen pristine copies of every release for the last 10 years. He was very pleased with his rainbow. He hadn't learned shit from any of our efforts. I dropped him like a hot potato.

There was a real, core principle in the fable, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". The JW's have no credibility left but they will survive on the brute force of disfellowshipping and the stream of poor souls who wander into the cult. Apparently, they have a very big purse and those who run it have a sweet gig.
