gratuitous snark duly noted. LOL, history reader and unofficial expert on everything.
Thank you, ms. Kumbaya.
However many try to politicize this fresh disaster, the status quo of the situation is still in flux.
no doubt you have heard about the nurse that thumbed her nose to the state and went out of the house in spite of being ordered to stay at home.
what is your opinion on this?.

let me start off by acknowledging that my current mood/thoughts reflect the fact that ive watched a few documentaries recently (blackfish, surviving progress, etc.
) and they got me thinking about the future of mankind.
mainly the question, do i hold out hope for the future of mankind?.
Sorry to burst your bubbles but it has been determined that there is a huge asteroid that will obliterate the earth in no less than 20 million years.
Sounds like a joke but our descendants will be here in 20 million years and it will be very disruptive to their lives.
Then there is always MAD (mutually assured destruction) if the crazies start lobbing nukes.
Most of us will be "safely dead" and it will be of no inconvenience to us.

Ebola is contagious when the infected person exhibits symptoms, which develop within 8-21 days of contracting the illness. It is not airborne. You have to physically come in contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected, symptomatic person to be at risk of contracting Ebola.
No offense, Scully. But this is a perfect example of someone who has accepted the latest "official" information. The above statement has already been modified to the point that it is meaningless.

Growing up as a born in I always resented the kids who could participate in the demon worship tradition. So I would dress up in a scary costume, such as a mummy wrapped in bloody bandages hiding in the shrubs then spring out with a growl as they approached our front door. One year I got in trouble for hiding on the roof above the front door, being invisible because of the bright porch light left on to lure them. I would pour fine dirt right into their little sacks.
Geez, I was a real little JW prick.
i do apologize for my extreme ignorance, but i am curious.. who the hell are honey boo boo, sugar bear and mama june??.
and more to the point.. why the hell are some americans so obsessed with them?.
i just don't get it.. .
There is an entire category of reality TV that is successful because it makes you feel superior and intelligent compared to the - hoarders, filthy housekeepers, white trash-etc. I don't care for them.
There is another category that I do watch. That is the hard working people who make a living for themselves through dangerous and very demanding endeavours such as commercial fishing, heavy haul trucking in rugged conditions and self sufficient people living (off the grid) on the edges of civilization.
Another category?

We are always prepared for the little guys in their costumes. However, when an adult(s) comes without kiddies it is very off-puting.
I should keep a camera handy to take pictures of home invaders before they rob us of our candy, tv's, cash, etc.
when i was a hyperactive kid, i used to like boxing, and of course muhammad ali.
he was a great athlete, with a one-of-a-kind style who made a stand for his beliefs.. now that i'm older, i admire athletes that are quieter and get on with the job in hand - joe frazier, for example.. i'd like to put american racial politics and ali's tragic current condition to one side and focus on the following:.
how good a fighter was ali?.
WOW ! That was the cut-n-paste from hell!
about two years ago after i had resigned as a ms, two elders came by to "encourage" me.. the first line of questioning was if i still believed the gb was directing the org.. i asked him "not to interrogate me".. they tried to open to a series of scriptures.. i cut them off with this tasty zinger: "i'm not interested!"..
--.
they have not asked to see me since.. being direct has it's advantages.. .
Perfect!
it amazes me how much thinking one does when you're out of the cult.
i mean another thread got me thinking about the story of jesus death.
so adam breaks a little test lives for 900 plus years and then dies of natural causes.
Perry, I think I have been looking at the secret code of your posts all wrong. It was right there in front of me! You are the bird!

Tyson's ear biting episode was after he was well on his way down.
As I have grown older I have lost interest in boxing and that is partly because of the Tyson sleazy train wreck.
