LOL! I don't know why this was so funny; but, I guess it had something to do with the avatar of Yoda looking irritated while saying this.... :)
for those who have spelling problems you can go to google and down load their tool bar.
it has spell check in it and works pretty easy.
then you will no longer have to listen to us that bitch about spelling.

Even worse than I've already said. Even worse than I am incautious enough to say online. :(

That is my real picture. Bruce is my real middle name. I've posted enough information to find my full name, the university from which I graduated, etc, in directly posted links. Does this mean that I have no fear? (WT "Empire" aside. I don't want to touch that.) My disclaimer reveals that I at least claim to have caution. I don't want to discourage others; but, it is one thing to be a fly seen on the wall by a giant caught up in other matters. It is quite another to be an irritating gnat like Socrates. I feel like a hypocrite saying that after screaming about so many controversial topics online for so long; but, I hope it answers your question.
i find this to be one of the most unattractive traits a person can have.
i mean sure we all get excited when something good happens to us or someone we love and we want to share it with others.
but i hate it when people try to glorify themselves.

Thanks. :)
my iq is 130 i have taken the test twice and both times it was 130. the detailed report said i am very high in math and logical thinking, but lower on language skills.
i believe this site has helped me with spelling and grammar.
i type rather fast now compared to when i started posting.

I was tested by a professional when I was about 6 or 7 years old.
However, I think that IQ can change, so I really don't have a good answer for the thread title. If my I.Q. is as high as it supposedly was then, I simply say: Good enough that I don't currently intend to spend 10 hours per week trying to raise it by 10 points this year.
Why do I think that I.Q. can be raised when so many "experts" seem to assert otherwise?

I practiced some of these forms of meditation for a little while. Subjectively, they seemed to increase some of my perceptive abilities for a while.
You might want to be careful around some of these techniques, though. Image streaming in groups may be effective; but, it reminds me a bit too much of something that may be similar to mass-hypnosis. Just exercise caution, as I'm sure you do. :)

I never brag! I only modestly inform people of the obvious fact that I'm better than they are! (Just joking. :P)
Seriously, the book "How to be funny" by Jon Macks shows that one technique of self-deprecating humor is to pretend to build yourself up, then suddenly tear yourself down in your own speech. The first part involves what seems like bragging for a few seconds until the second part is revealed.
For instance, when they published an "Awake!" with an article on memory techniques a few years ago, the CO was in town and asked for interesting points in the magazine on Saturday morning. I referred to the article, and arrogantly asserted that I had already been using many of these techniques, and they work! ... (sheepishly ->) ... except [that] I forget to use them... Somehow, many people cracked up. :P
Happy New Year, Pep! :)
Delilah, here is a resolutions thread for you, if you are looking for one. :)
