One more time.....
by DavidChristopher inif a person wrote a book with all kinds of hard to understand words in it...even some seemingly simple ones too.. lets say "sea"....do you know what the "sea" is to the author?
is it an ocean..lake...or big river..or a creek?.
how would you ever know for sure..if the author was dead or unreachable?.

Could you reasonably expect me to define someone else's words for them? Especially if I never knew or met them? Or are you really wanting my definition of these seemingly simple words? But yes Star...they are symobloic for something else besides any kind of "water".
I would rather you do the research and come to your own conclusion..rather then expect me and want me to do all the work and find out..then lead you around. Lead yourself...learn and share then invite others to do the same..That is what i would like to see personally.
But what exactly is my definition of "share"?
perhaps you need to go see an elder and ask them...they know me well to know what I meant by "share" right?

perhaps the God that everyone has in their head and tries to present their opinions and empty words as His may be a nonexistant coward....But I don't think for one second a real God would throw in the towel and run.
Not the one in my head anyway.

I wouldn't dare try to say what God meant by "sea"....I would not advise you to guess either Star.
take a NWT w footnotes find every scripture listed where the word "sea" is used..read them and report back back what you think it is then.
Please Star!....become a expert on "sea"...and see if everyone comes to the same conclusion.

Would they be lying?
Iran's nuclear program is for "peaceful purposes"...only problem is nobody asked them what their idea or definition of "peace" is....it could be world without the US or Isreal in it!

I Wonder.
Welcome to the board!
Just ask a bunch of questions...and they will show their true intentions real quick...and they will expose themselves by persucuting and condemning you for wanting to learn more than they know...or claim to know.
they want people to spend their entire lives just trying to get where they are in learning...not go beyond...and your questions will point out out your desire to do so very quickly.
of course..this approach has many personal sacrifices that will make your life a living hell...but someone might see and follow you to freedom.
It all amounts to..if you seek short-term happiness trading for long term misery...or you choose short-term sacrifices for long term happiness.
if you are unhappy...everyday you spend there is time wasted.

My mom is still a devout witness.....yet she talks to me and tells me I am right about alot of things.
don't give up on them....we may lose a few battles now and then...but the war is not over yet.

Nice point lady lee!
Their actions say they plan to keep acting as go-betweens forever..never to be obsolete. Their words say Jesus will be king...but in reality they want to be king over us forever.
you would think they would want to rest from all their hard work furthering the ministry.
What need would there be to further ministry if everyone living is converted?
their announced "goal" completed is their worst fear and nightmare.
Like a weapons manufacturer coming up with a weapon so terrifiying...that fear of it causes a worldwide peace to take place.

sheep and goats
by gspradling ini am having a discussion with my jw mom on the watchtower take on matt 25:32. i know this has been discussed many times on here before, but i was wondering if someone had the watchtower quotes on this topic.
i was thinking the watchtower already had decided who the goats were.

I can give you mine...but really can't comment on His...
Perhaps you need to ask someone who claims to be speaking for Him, perhaps He gave them His definitions of those words to define for you...rather than allow you access to His truth/opinion personally.
Mine is tame easy led, trusting animals...and rebelious, horned, stubborn, eat anything, four legged lawnmowers.
is that what He meant by "sheep" and "goats" as well?
