  has anyone ever had any dealings with some of the uk district overseer's such as david algar and paul presland.

  i remember listening to them speak at circuit assemblies and you couldn't hear a pin drop.

  just wondering if they are still do's?.

  Yes Pauline Carter died about 5 years ago.

  He was the only DO to have covered all the Districts in the British Iles.

  to be honest, i feel like i barely qualify as an ex-dub.

  wasn't raised in it, no relatives in it, and aside from my first one or two years of being involved with it, i didn't believe much of it.

  but at the point where i first started having doubts creep in, instead of investigating those doubts, i turned off my brain.

  David is now the DO for the London District.

  Paul Presland is one of the MTS Instructors along with Mike Purbrick.

  David Dutton is now on the branch committee

  David Carter is now off and very ill

  Albert Storer on the Yorkshire District

  George Hilton is the DO for the Upper highlands as well as the CO for Sheffield

  I've got the latest list somewhere.

  I presume like most you enjoyed David Algars talks, just because he had such great charisma

  Governing Body Compromise Over Matters Of Personal Conscience

  i have it on very good authority that the governing body, under pressure from wts legal i might add, have agreed that matters pertaining to grooming and dress will not be dictated by wts corporate policy any longer but will be left to a persons conscience to decide.

  at the annual general meeting, shortly to be held, the governing body will themselves set an organizational lead by appearing in in the grooming of their choice.

  i was particularly impressed with theo jaracz new look ( fourth right, first row ).

  Do you address people by their "religious" titles?

  even though i have been out of the borg for over a decade, when i run into an older witness, i sometimes still slip and say brother or sister so and so.. i was married by a baptist minister, and my husband insists that i address him as reverend.

  this tends to make me a tad uncomfortable, although i don't know why.. when i lost my daughter, the hospital chaplain came by, and i easily referred to him as father, and never thought twice about it.

  i know there were a lot more important things on my mind, but i wondered about it later.. what about you?

  we are putting together a dossier about corruption inside branch offices involving large amounts of money.. we already have some quite revealing evidence, however we need more especially from the branch in australia and the uk.. any information received will be treated as confidential.
