SATAN WORSHIP?
by shell69 ini've been several months out now (da'd in feb 07).
i took to wearing a pentagram , since i really do believe in these five main elements to life.. however, as you will know the pentagram is also reffered to as 'star of satan and various other things.. my point is: as far as the witlesses are concerned, i worship the devil since i dont worship jehoobah.. but!.
i would rather be a worshiper of satan, who everyone knows can be a bit of scumbag at times, but at least i know where i stand with him, than worship a god who proffesses to be the only true god, yet devastates his followers when they realise the true extent of the lies of his apparent earthly organization.. so i wear my pentagram with pride!.

I don't think Satan would persecute those he digs. Is this merely anti Satan propoganda?

The Bible - God's Word or Man's? - What Convinces You?
by sweet pea inhaving believed the whole bible, hook, line and sinker all these years i get the impression many of you have come to the conclusion that we should take it with a pinch of salt and not hold to it so dogmatically.
and some possibly believe in it just as much as you did when you were a witness.
to save me some time please, lovely people, as i am very lazy - could you share with me why you do or don't believe in it - what evidence there is either way and if there are any particular books that you found helpful in coming to your conclusions?

Like most people here I've been on a journey as far as that question is concerned. I was raised to believe it was the word of God and I then had that reenforced by such pulp as the little book Is the Bible Really the Word of God? The fact that there are so many holy books across the world which claim they are inspired of a creator, and you "believe" the one which is most common in your country or culture makes one wonder. I see them all, for want of a better description as unauthorised biographies, usually written by people pushing very human agendas.
I was once looking at an old Bible in a secondhand bookshop, and in the inside cover someone had written "All characters in this publication are fictitious and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental".
So I went

Nice pic. I didn't realise he was known in the Americas. He's recently opened a restaurant up about 15 miles from my house and I'm planning a night out there just after Christmas.

Great stuff Newboy. As a spiritualist I can really get into that story. Almost sounds like a Michael Newton hypnosis patient.
Best of luck with it and thanks again for the tips on screenplay writing and software in your PM.
