  Most of that letter was just saying what the governments have been saying anyway. It sickens me that jdubs will think the org is taking care of them, when actually all the advice and rules are coming from 'Satan's governments'

  Curious to know the Zoom attendance figures for for the memorial

  i’m just curious to know the local attendance figures for the memorial.

  my father told me they had an attendance of 140. not flattering for a cong of 100 pubs.

  i was sort of surprised at this considering the quarantine measures and everyone being forced to stay at home.

  Any figures this year are not very likely to be accurate. I know the org still want those figures, but they wonr be able to do any bragging about increase this year. I suppose all they can say is that the memorial still went ahead world wide so that shows Jehooba is blessing his people lol

  Covid 19, is this the WT new push to bring back ex JW's before the end of the system?

  not sure if this was covered as i could not find anything on it but talking to my son he tells me one of the gb had a talk telling them this is a sign of the last days.

  have the jw's being pressured into talking to relatives and friends to bring them back into the fold before the end of the system blah blah blah?

  the reason why i ask is my son was saying his mother has being on his case the last few weeks and then two days ago i got a telephone message from my sister, that hasn't spoke to me in 4 years, asking how i am doing.

  Whenever there is any large disaster the JWs jump on it to prove that we are living in the last days. The latest virus pandemic, is tailor made for them to frighten people to come back to the org. However once its all over, it will be interesting to see what happens. My guess is that there will be a small increase this service year in publishers, but then less and less in the years to come.

  Counting Memorial Attendees and Partakers

  how will the borg be able to count the partakers(144,000 anointed) since jws are to celebrate the memorial at home?

  what about accurate counts for attendees?

  what challenges do you see?

  I agree with a previous poster who said this year they could not report the partakers, as the figure wouldnt be very accurate. Then next year just not publish it again. It is an embarrassment to them anyway.

  people are not willing to accept the popularity of the watchtower and awake as these magazines belong to jw.

  in comment section of this link people are abusing again jehovah's witnesses.

  That is because they are given away free of charge. The witnesses nearly every time do the donating, not the householder. Plus the vast majority of those magazines go straight in the bin. You can see how they are having no affect on most of the world as there is no increase in most western countries. Their increase last year was around the world population increase, so they are not growing now

  Im in the uk, and its almost total lockdown. So we have been told to stay in our homes unless we are essential workers. So JWs should be not meeting with anyone except those in their own homes, the same as the rest of us

  Yes smiddy, how can that spokesman talk about growth in the country. They have had no increase in Canada for the last two years. If they publish the figures that show that they are not growing there, how can anybody possibly say different to what the figures show. The article said As the church accommodates growth, some buildings are being renovated, others sold and some new ones built. Last year, 10 new halls were built in Canada with another nine planned for this year. Another 28 had or will have major renovations, Andersen wrote. He did not say how many were sold in Canada.

  This is how the Watchtower is making its money now. They sell Kingdom Halls and then build new ones with free labour. This is happening throughout the world and the jdubs are to brainwashed to realize it.

  The virus has certainly made JWs think more about their doctrine of the grest tribulation. We can only hope that it will bring many to their senses that their teaching is not 1 million deaths but 7 billion in a mass slaughter by God.
