I think there will be a lot of witnesses that will inflate the figures, so they look reasonable when the elders see them.

Field service national average - what do you think it is now?
by BourneIdentity init’s always been 10 hours when door to door was active.
i’m curious of how it’s changed with only letter writing and phone witnessing approved.. i’m curious if they are able to do it for 3 hours like a typical door to door morning.
i would be surprised.

How service is being conducted with the zoom meetings
by newsheep ina friend of ours who is married to a jw said that this morning for service everyone who was on zoom got to do a call while the rest listened in on the call.
there were thirty-one this morning listening in on one who would call someone to preach to.
shouldn't the person they are calling on be warned first that there will be so many listening in on their phone call from the zoom meeting.

I think Watchtower are really afraid of their end of year figures going down. It would show very clearly that they are not protected or blessed by jehooba. Im pretty sure there must be a law against sharing a video presentation with countless others. Although surely the householder would see they are being fimed

This was reported on jwdotorg on April 30th ''Though Jehovah’s people have responsibly employed protective measures during this public health crisis, we are not exempt from its potential deadly effects. (Ecclesiastes 9:11) Sadly, to date, 872 of our dear brothers and sisters worldwide have died as a result of contracting the COVID-19 virus. Our fellow worshippers have been quick to support and comfort those grieving. (1 Corinthians 12:26)''
So they certainly havent had any protection by their god. They are just as at risk as anybody else.

They may be selling off loads of Kingdom Halls, but Im sure they will building new ones as well. They have to, its the only way they can get money in, now that donations are drying up. So they sell off halls to make money, then build some more somewhere else with free labour.

Kingdom Hall Sales
by lastmanstanding invideo conferencing systems are being installed in kingdumb halls.
this is being charged to the congregations.. the ability to video conference, zoom, directly from the halls will now be the thing.. i believe that the current situation has given the wts an idea.. if there are two kingdom halls in an area, then one can be sold.. congregations will split the use, half using the hall one week and zooming the next and visa versa..

Whatever happens they have to be able to sell kingdom halls, but also need to get the sheep to build new ones with free labour. Only that way can they keep the money coming in

Zoom meetings to continue thru July
by Wakanda inco is coming and expecting to zoom it in july.
also there is no talk about starting to slowly go back to the hall.
like having 1 group at the hall and the rest on zoom, etc.

Yes that could be a good result for Watchtower. They dont want to get rid of Kingdom Halls, because they need to sell Kingdom Halls every so often to make money, as donations are not enough to keep the org going. By attending the hall just once a week they still can do that, and the mid week meeting can be streamed around the world, giving the governing body and even stronger hold of the JW members

A discovery concerning 1975 as I am going through old Watchtower literature
by lastmanstanding ini think everyone has heard about the video at the convention a few years back where an older ‘brother’ relates that “some were selling their homes” pre 1975, and it makes it look like the rank and file are stupid.
it shifts the blame to the r&f.
no mention of the km that advocated it.. and you have all seen the km that said it, and that it was the may 1974 km.. however, it was not.

There is a picture of the KM online where those infamous words were written. It says clearly it is May 1974. Maybe it was published in a different month in some countries."Yes, since the summer of 1973 there have been new peaks in pioneers every month. Now there are 20,394 regular and special pioneers in the United States, an all-time peak. That is 5,190 more than there were in February 1973! A 34-percent increase! Does that not warm our hearts? Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining before the wicked world's end." Kingdom Ministry May 1974 p.3 How Are You Using Your Life?
