Did you notice that Macedonia seems to have disappeared?
Also the report shows each countries increase. But is that peak publisher increase or average publisher increase?
Remembering that last year they didnt show the average publishers by country. I tried checking the peak publishers figures, but it doesnt work out to what they say the increase is. Any thoughts?

Personally I think the figures published are truthful. Remember every branch sends in the figures to head office, so if the published figures were regularly different to what had been sent in, a lot of rank and file witnesses at the branch would know about it. Many of the figures are showing a negative amount. It is happening where we would expect it to happen, namely in internet savvy countries. Also it makes sense that poorer less educated people with limited access to the net will still be growing. That is what is happening.

Its true the JWs can barely get an increase above the population rate, but actually they are still attracting people to get baptised. It was the highest for a long time this year. However their, big,big problem is they cant keep those people. So the result is, many come in threw the front door, but nearly the same amount leave by the back door. This is why they have just a 1.3% increase this year.

It doesnt seem to bother Watchtower that the figure is going up. They already said many of those are not truly anointed ones

Not at all sad for ex JWs. Its all great news to see the religion slowly dying and allowing more people to lead there own successful lives. Certainly amazing though about the USA figures
the watchtower is thrilled with the amount baptised in the 2019 service year.
they are reporting an increase in publishers of 103,208 from the 2018 year.. this is what they have posted under global news on their website -.
2019 service year report includes largest baptismal figure in 20 yearswe are thrilled to announce that during the 2019 service year, more than 300,000 individuals were baptized as jehovah’s witnesses.
Anyone know if and when the full 2019 service report will be published?

I walked away from the org years ago (faded), but they still miss my house out when they are working the road. I have never asked them not to call, but they are afraid of hearing something about the org that might be against what they are taught.

i mean if info that this world was going to end during 20th century and so forth were changed by the publisher.
Most things they have no trouble with. JWs are well used to old light and new light. So if you find something in 1980 that was wrong, they will simply say that is old light and they understand it better now. So its much better to point out things that are wrong right now, and that the org have not corrected.
hi all, a little while back we had a thread on the topic a new baptism contract, specifically question two, in that the "in association with gods spirit directed organisation" has been dropped.
we had two circuit level baptisms in australia since the story started getting around where the old wording was still being used and i was starting to think that it was just a rumor.. the melbourne international convention this passed weekend used the new contract, in which the claim of spirit direction is rolled back.

They say whatever they need to, so as to keep going and keep members. Very often they will say one thing and then when it suits them say the very opposite.
hi all.. i didn't want to post this in private because i want all to see what i saw.. the protest at the melbourne convention went superbly in my opinion.
the protesters and their banners were more than eloquent and succinct.
you could feel the emotion they all conveyed.
This is the first I have heard about this. Wish I had been there. Ive never been to a convention where there were dissenting voices. Must have been amazing. I love the fact they had attendants guarding the platform lol
