It certainly is a factual letter. There is nothing in it that is untrue. My only thought was that its too long for most peoiple to read. But for those who get to the end, Im pretty sure they will keep well away from this damaging cult

Over here in the UK we are totally disgusted at the scenes we saw a week ago of the violence and rebellion by Trump worshipers. The sooner he goes the better and he should never stand for office again. He lost the election, he needs to get over it, just as every other democratic country does when they have a change in government.

The violent "My book of bible stories" not for kids!
by Witness 007 ini once left a copy with the kids of my return visit.
the next time i came she returned it to me saying it was discusting and not something kids should be reading.
i was shocked since i learnt to read using this book.

A truly terrible book for kids. My youngest son who is not a JW, but went to meetings for a while, has the book on his bookshelf. I have told his wife about the book and she agrees it definately should not be used on their new son when hes old enough.

2020 Service Year Report of Jehovah’s Witnesses Worldwide
by Joker5 inthe 2020 report has been out for a few days.
2020 grand totals.
branches of jehovah’s witnesses: 87. .

They say lands instead of countries, because that shows a bigger figure. Loads of small islands are part of the report, that often belong to one country, So its simply written that way so the org can brag to the dubs that they are preaching all over the world. In realty over a third of the world has never, ever met a JW.

April 30, 1993
by pistolpete inthis year was actually “the beginning of the last days for the watchtower.
before this year, there were very few that questioned the watchtower.
they were truly god’s only channel.

It was actually the year that I walked away from Watchtower. And at that time I didnt have the benefit of the internet to help me.

Reading the Watchtower publications will give you an university education.
by Overrated inthe watchtower said that reading their stuff would get you a college education.
can anyone recall that gem?
my parents sure bought into that crap.

I think the point they were trying to make was that reading the bible and their publications were better for you than a college education

How do you personally deal with your still in family JWS ?
by Finkelstein infor myself i just try to avoid them intentionally maybe see them once every couple of years on average.
they used to be easy going but over the last 10 years or so they got more cult like and distant and i'm really not bothered by that, maybe a bit.
they stick to their own or other members like they are their family so, its makes it unattractive for myself to connect and reach out to them anymore.

My 42 year old son is an elder. He never contacts me, so its down to me to contact him. Once we are chatting there is no problem at all, accept there are many subjects i cant talk about because he would feel i am attacking his religion in some way.

Thank Jehovah for the food box's

So if i have this right, the government in USA are sending out food parcels to individuals, and church members including Jehovah's Witnesses are saying its a loving provision from their God? And jehovah's Witnesses have been told to just accept it and dont talk about receiving it.

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses “Witness” Any More?
by minimus ini see no more preaching.
no more door knocking.
no more car groups.
-

They are not interested any more to defend their faith. That is why there is no Theocratic Ministry school any more. They only want to speak to those that will listen and not ask any deep questions. Its all about finding vulberable people now.

Disfellowshipped for NOT activating my camera on ZOOM meeting
by Aleph inhey so i won't go too much into the details though there would be so much more to say....in a nutshell, you are repentant but not enough so we disfellowship you ....i asked, can you clarified this "not enough repentant" please ?as one of the reason of not being repentant : " you didn't put on your camera during zoom meetings !!!
" they yelled at me, like a bunch of wolves against a sheep....so :.
- no scriptural basis.- abuse of power.- my phone can't handle to have its camera on more than 20 minutes.then they yelled " jehovah does want you in the congregation" !like you are not welcome here....strangely to me, isaiah 1:18 and the story of the prodigal son tells a complete different story....well the whole bible is about love forgiveness and repentance !!

Why would you even want to repent and go back? When you committed fornication, you obviously knew what you were doing. So why not take advantage of the fact you are out of the org, and begin enjoying the rest of your life, free from the dictates of 8 old men in New York
