I'm in no way shape or form advocating that anyone should destroy or vandalize JW property. I merely would like to point to facts that they are not aware of. Get them on the path to thinking for themselves and researching more about this group, before they indoctrinate other unsuspecting individuals into this publishing nightmare. I want to be able to post signs LEGALLY. Maybe a group of us could get together and pool our resources. Make this happen and see if it helps.

I'd like to go where the poorest of the poor are. Sounds wierd, I know. But I would really like to do that. And I would like for my son to go with me. He's 9 yrs. old. To see first hand how fortunate we are to live in a country where we are free and rich. Even if we work at McDonald's for minimum wage, we are still rich compared to most of the world. It is inspiring to see where the need is the greatest, and to build a desire within to do something to help. I have met some very interesting missionaries from other countries. The stories they tell, with the pictures to back it up. And they are DOING something about it. They are the most glowing people in the world! I'd like to glow like that. Maybe someday..........

I've been checking out my options. There are a whole lot of telephone poles that I could post things on that lead right up to the KH. I've also noticed these cool little political signs that stick in the ground. They are fairly cheap and easy to put just everywhere. I have a friend in the printing business who can get them for me at cost, and I would be able to remain totally anonymous! The billboard thing would be too expensive for me. I'm kind of on my own with this right now. If my "ship comes in" in the meantime, you'll know it, because I'll have billboards all over the place with your suggestions. You are brilliant!!!
If anyone else gives this a go, will you please get in touch with me and let me know how it goes? What method you used and if it made anyone think? I'll let you know how it goes on my end! I may hide somewhere and video tape the reactions in the KH parking lot!

one thing that always annoyed me when i was in the org was the policy on education.
i personaly am not college educated, i was`nt raised as a jw.
however, i have always appreciated the services provided by those who have had a college/university education.
Hey, Dozy! Shame on you for criticizing some one else's spelling. Perhaps it was just a typo! Have you noticed the doozies that the WTS has put out in their own materials? Not to mention the mis-quotes and the contradictions?

the guy i've just started seeing has certainly inspired this thread: he believes television and newspapers only corrupt the mind, practices some weird religion having to do with contacting his ancestors but claims it has nothing to do with demon worship and doesn't even own a cellphone.

I dated this guy one time, and he was brutally honest. Looked kind of like George Clooney. Was a sports fanatic, which was a BIG turn off for me. He was a pentacostal-type. Mr. Brainiac--book smart-college guy. A whole lot naive about women. Says what he thinks, before he thinks about what he's going to say......you know the type. I decided to get even with him for being such a royal pain.
I married him. (That'll teach him! :0)

Personally, I DO.
I was indocrtrinated in to the cult of Evolution. I believed it for many years. People were a result of crawling out of a slimy putrid soup of goo, and I behaved accordingly. I trusted many educated believers of the Evolutionary "truth". They were so smart....it all made sense. Then I just so happened to listen to a Creation Scientist, and the walls came tumbling down! Suddenly the Bible made way more sense than the Evolution BS I had been taught all through school.
I am not a "religious" person. I don't believe a religion is ever going to save me. But, Jesus......NOW that's another story. The best advice I ever received was from the person who told me to read the Bible. Don't use other books, don't ask opinions of men, JUST read IT. Start at the New Test. and read the Old Test. last. You can see the evidence of Jesus all the way through. It's amazing.
And the truth that is in the Bible will make apparent any of the lies that any one else has told you. The pages are alive with truth. Not religion.

we had a weekend away a couple of weeks ago.
i took a few classic dvd's along in case the weather turned sour.. so i watched ghost with demi moore, that pottery scene has to be one of my favourite ever..........gives me goosebumps!
but it's not my favourite movie of all time/ i'm embarrassed to admit it, but ok i will, cause i'm with friends!
