  What is most important ? to approach a JW with? Any current changes in WT?

  i have recently been having a dialogue with my jw friend on the "blood" doctrine.

  i've heard about others who have used the wt involvement with the un (which i am not very familiar with).

  others say to use the failed prophecies.

  my best friend of 30 yrs.

  has been studying with jws for (on & off) 9 yrs.

  she is now going to nearly every meeting and is a stone's throw from baptizm.

  Matt.27: 51-54 Do you remember WT saying these were bodies tossed about?

  i swear that my jw friend told me that matt.

  27:51-54 wasn't really speaking of a resurrection, but that the bodies were tossed out of the graves by the quake and only "appeared" to be alive, ....etc.....( they were tumbling around and looked like they were walking, but they were really just dead bodies that fell out of their graves and were moving around because of the quake.).

  have any of you heard this before, and could you give me a clearer explanation of how this was explained?

  Could you tell me how the WTS is like, Catholics, Mormons, etc....?

  could you tell me in what ways the wts is much like those that they believe are wrong?

  (example: mormons believe jesus is an angel; wt belive jesus is michael the archangel.

  ) i'm interested in seeing comparisons to catholic, mormon, moonies, etc...whatever.

  Where the KIT and NWT differ (Jn 14:14). Do you have more?!

  i have a 1985 edition of the kit and have heard that there are many places that the nwt was translated erroneously and that it can be proven by this.

  john 14:14 is one of the places i have found to support this.

  can you show me other others?

  Survey: Out of all the doors you went to, how many asked..............

  could you estimate how many doors you went to within a year's time, what percentage claimed to be christians, and how many asked good thought-provoking questions?

  questions that made you really think and wonder if something was not quite right with the wt.

  how important do you think it would be in the lives of jws to have this happen on a more regular basis?

  The NWT and marshmallow--what is the WT excuse for that one?

  job 6:6- will tasteless things be eaten without salt, or is there any taste in the slimy juice of marshmallow?.

  hmmm........marshmallow has slimy juice?

  wouldn't it taste kind of "sweet"?

  a dialogue has opened up between me and a jw friend about their stance on blood.

  just wondered if any of you were ever asked a question that made you think twice, or if you have any questions that you think would be good to ask?

  When someone asks, "Why should I learn how to effectively talk to JWs?"

  from my own perspective, i have learned so much about how to share my faith and i have gained an enormous amount of patience.

  i also have learned how i need to read everything in context, lest i become very confused and be led astray of what the bible is really saying.. i would like to know what reasons you would give for people to learn how to effectively witness to jehovah's witnesses?

  and how many people, in the time frame that you were an active jw, asked the right questions while you were a jw?

  Advice, please! Concerning the 2 witness rule

  my friend, who is not yet baptised in the wt, but is well on her way and very defensive of the wt, kind of led me into a conversation about how there has to be two witnesses for immoral acts, etc....(i guess someone recently got caught with another guy's wife, and it took a little detective work, because there has to be 2 witnesses.

  ) i brought up child molestors.

  what does the wt do in those cases?
