Christ can offer you salvation and guarantee. 1) He does not need your silver 2) You have to believe that Christ gives you salvation and he himself IS this salvation.

Another question about JW
by Shazard inas i never been jw i can't understand why some of you bother writing some letters.
if being in wt is not legaly binding (as i understood that baptism is not legaly binding), then who cares about writing.
just stop going to kh and that's all.

Or there is something I do not understand? Or this is some kind of psichological matter?

Questions for JW in Bible studies
by Shazard inhere was thread which gave me this idea http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/108254/1.ashx .
is there some good "compilation" of good questions (not too much) to ask jw in bible studies with potential new jw to expose their "truth".
i know there are hundreds of questions, dozens of sites with different questions for jw, but i am thinking about specific questions to ask in presence of new student and their "teacher" to plant seeds of doubt in the student that there is something wrong with studies!

Guess this 1914 question won't work in the begining as they does not start with it.

Tricky questions for JW but actually for "hearing" for 3rd persons... -

The leaking organization, seems like the young are exiting fast.
by free2beme ini ran across a witness i knew the other day at the gym and we had an open and honest discussion on exiting the organization.
he still goes and used to be an elder, but stepped down when his children were disfellowshipped.
he was actually very honest with me on some subjects, which tells me that he is probably putting together an exit foundation and looking for some bricks of information to make it solid.

Mormons: Bedrock of a Faith Is Jolted
by AMNESIAN incompare: "1914" and "no-blood" bedrock doctrines of the wbts:
http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-mormon16feb16,0,5561316.story?coll=la-home-headlines
from the time he was a child in peru, the mormon church instilled in jose a. loayza the conviction that he and millions of other native americans were descended from a lost tribe of israel that reached the new world more than 2,000 years ago.. .

This happens when Cults try to influence this World. Jesus told that his Kingdom is not of this world, so the Christians ar not of this world, still have to exist in this World.

Does the Bible contain all the truth?
by greendawn indoes the bible contain the whole religious truth or just a part of it that just happened to get recorded, and came to us?
i think only a small part of the truth is in the bible, eg jesus says to the apostles "i call you my friends because i revealed to you everything that i heard from my father" but i am sure he told them a lot more in those three years than what is in the gospels.
much of the truth that was said or written before or after john's revelation never came to us.

It contains all the truth you need for salvation.
Even single John gospel is enough, as he writes in John 20:31
So yes, Bible is enough for salvation and much more for that! But ofcourse it does not contains all the truth in the world. For example there is not much about 2nd thermodinamics law!
