Has the Kingdom Interlinear Translation been pulled off the shelves

i was searching for it at the hall's library and i didnt find a copy.

i also asked the literature department for a copy and they said they werent familiar with the bible.

what is going on?

When speaking with a few JW's, I asked them to reference their Kingdom Interlinear Translation. They had no idea what I was talking about..

i just wanted to take a minute and express the appreciation i feel for this place.

simon and angharad, thanks to you two for putting up with the crap necessary to keep this place available to disenfranchised outcasts like me.

also, thanks to the forum administrators who work to keep the place relatively cordial and welcoming.. but really, this forum would be nothing without the posters.

this verse ,i think is where `jesus christ is lord' is written,the word kyrios is used,same as is used for jehovah.

hi...i'm a 18 year old girl from nb.

i've kind of got myself into a bit of trouble and i'm not sure what to do.

i know you are all really helpful and friendly so i was hoping someone might be able to give me some advice.

I am still in love with a JW woman but she thinks that I am an innocent bystander under Satan's control trying to take her away from Jehovah. I urge you, do not change your ways. You should not have to change who you are and what you believe for anyone. Find someone to accept you just the way you are.
I was told the rhetoric that she can't mix with unbelievers. I told her that I am a believer. I believe in the same God, I just believe different things about HIM and the WORD. She was actually the smarter one in the sense that she left me because she knew the odds would be against us with the added burden of differing faiths. I still wanted to be with her and even sacraficed having children to do so...
I'm sure that would have been a mistake.
Trust me, if anyone should change their faith, it should be him, not you.

Who is Your Mediator? ---- proof readers required

a number of posters here have said that the watchtower doctrine that jesus is not our mediator is the one that they find most disturbing.

for this reason i have written a new article to post on my site.

the article is long, but i would appreciate if people could check it for doctrinal and historical accuaracy.

Revelation chapter 9

i have been researching revelation 9 and have recently come to the realization that the jws are claiming in their own literature that they themselves are the locust horde coming out of the abyss spoken of in revelation 9 and they are also claiming that their king is abaddon the king of the abyss who they say is jesus.

in their old literature they used to say the abaddon is satan and now they have done a flip flop and say he is jesus!

this is just amazing to me that they would say this.

The Challange of Faith

i stumbled on this site dong some research, i post now only for those you have not sinned against jehovah's holy spirit, since only jehovah knows this, some value might be taken form this.

i currently serve as the service overseer in my congregation, i have been an elder for over 10 years.. the fundmental issue that challanges every jw faith at some point are the imperfections of the wtbs, & those that take the lead sometimes make huge errors.

as a third generation jw with a huge network of elders, i have heard many bad things about those that take the lead.. some of these have effected myself and my family, this is the test, no different than what job faced, but it is more on the emotional and mental level.

HAHAH...excellent analogy TruthBeTold. You've got a sense of humor too. I hope you stick around here. This board is much more interesting that way. But on a serious note, I think most people haven't left the org for selfish reasons. Most lose their most precious relationships. But sometimes truth, though liberating, is deeply hurtful and traumatic. No one seeks that selfishly
