  I'm confused about literature cited....

  i noticed that some of the literature cited has references to pages in the hundreds like pg 127 etc.... i know the wt publishes books but are there any discrepencies between the original mags published and the bound versions?.

  i ask because when i was presenting some info to a friend and gave her the source, she said, "how can that be?

  this is a small magazine with only a few pages and you are saying the pages are in the hundreds?".

  if an active jw woman chooses to marry a catholic man, .

  would she essentially be disassociating herself?

  would she be disfellowshipped?

  Question about "good works" ??? ???

  not ever having been a jw, i was curious to know something.... are witnesses ever encouraged to do good works for the less fortunate?

  (giving to the poor, working in a soup kitchen, helping the elderly, other volunteer work, etc..).

  i know scripture states you will know believers by their "fruit".

  Trinity pamphlet, - a response & research

  i'm not sure how much of this is old news to y'all but after being handed this literature, i was trying to find evidence on the ante-nicene fathers it quotes in this pamphlet.

  i figured, if early christians didn't believe in it, then, to me anyway, the doctrine held some water.

  i stumbled upon this essay by eric francke which is a direct response to the pamphlet and very well written in my opinion.

  How are pedophiles protected in the WT???

  i read a comment on another thread and a comment stated that pedophiles are protected.

  is it because you need at least two to witness an event to make it legit?

  please explain this to me.

  What were you disfellowshipped for?

  i recently had a discussion with a witness friend (i'm a secret) and she claimed that witnesses only get disfellowshipped for being unrepentant for immoral acts.

  i am curious to know from those who have been disfellowshipped, what was it for?

  is this verse completely merged with verse 8 in the nwt?

  how is this overlooked?

  i am brand new to this site and i am writing this for anyone that cares about the website that was shut down by the wtbs.

  i thought it was one of the best sites i have ever come across and now it is no longer available.

  last night i spent 3 hours copying most of it's info on my hard-drive into separate word documents and you can too!
