  Changed into a Spirit Creature! - Whoa!

  yes, being changed into a spirit creature.

  that is essentially what is implied in watch tower theology about the anointed!, 144,000. the "change" is mostly understood to be at death of an aointed jw.

  but ... there is more to it than that .... if you read wts publications on anointing, start with the january 15th, 1952 watchtower, pages 63 and 64, i cited in my previous post some months ago, you will see the implication that part of the process starts while still in the flesh.. jw anointed are said to have their hopes 'changed' so that they no longer desire 'earthly' things, but now focus on heavenly, desiring to be in heaven with god, etc.

  Yea! there's a "zapping!" Oh sure! This whole thing of anointed vs. un-anointed is a bunch of crap! It's all a creation of Rutherford's imagination!

  I know that Reinhard Lengtat believed that all (true) Christians living on this side of Armageddon would be taken to heavenly life at some point. He was Ed Dunlap's assistant and editor of the Aid Book and Inisght on the Scriptures (after Dunlap and Franz were DF'd / he was the editor of Insight... while a special pioneer in Oregon), someone I knew in Bethel; the most spiritual man I ever met while in Bethel!

  2nd and 3rd responses to my UN Letters

  the second response came from a couple that were good friends in my congregation.. the response was simply my unopened letter returned to me.

  remember im not df or dad so someone must have warned them not to open any thing from me.. now for the 3rd and more dramatic response!

  it comes from an old time family friend on my husbands side.. i tell you, i still see the bridge burning on this one!.

  Thanks for posting this, Ranchette! I'm assuming you're looking for some kind of support from those you wrote to. Therefore, can I offer a little advice?

  I understand your indignation and disgust regarding the hypocritical position Watchtower has placed itself. This issue makes my blood boil too! I'd like to get out the verbal flame-thrower just as you have done, and torch everyone I know in the org.

  However, why not try the JW technique of letting someone discover for himself/herself the validity of a religious belief or view? Wouldn't this approach be more effective in getting your point across? In other words, state your concerns, site references to the web site(s), raise some questions that concern you, and then let the reader draw their own conclusions, rather than state them yourself.

  For example, after stating your discovery of this information at the UN web site, you might simply say: "Am I being overly sensitive about this? Can you think if any reason why the Watchtower would join the UN as a non-governmental associate and has been an associate for 10 years? I'm sure you can appreciate my concern."

  Just some friendly advise.

  the wt representatives was definitely using the benefits of their ngo status.

  imagine being in the same room as so many "babylon the great" representatives:.

  okay, in the w - 10/15/00 - there is an article of these 2 men who were actually the "beginning" of the true "religion" of god.

  when i read about it, it makes absolutely no sense!!!!

  i had never heard of these men before.

  TO: "TheOldHippie," in regards to "biblexaminer," he has his heart in all this mess, and it looks like he poured it out to this UN representative! Although it may be unfortunate that he may not have used choice words, or rather, went overboard, still I'm sure his sincerity has shown right through! So, don't get so bent out of shape! I suspect that if you were in his situation, you would have reacted the same way! After the smoke clears, I only hope we have a documentation-trail that can be left for posterity.

  Did they send a letter? Just curious.

  By having their name removed from the UN's web site, it might be difficult to show that they were ever involved! This is a way for them to revise their history and allow them to lie about ever being connected with the UN! They can simply deny being part of it, unless there's some indication on the UN's web site that still lists their name, but marked as "disassociated."
