lets start whith a few that i know they dont like and identify if a person is apostate or not.
JWs avoid using the words "Luck" and "Lucky".
Years ago I recall an elder giving 'friendly advice' from the stage after a younger brother used the word lucky in his # 2 talk. I felt bad for this younger brother as he was
quite embarassed. Couldn't the elder have said this to him privately? No, he had to criticize him publicly in front of 100+ dubs. This younger brother had obvious self esteem
issues and was very shy, the elder really should have been more tactful.

i know it is wrong, beyond all doubt, so why waste my time at their meetings, conventions or assemblies.
why read information that is known to be bias, hurtful and not very well thought out?
I know from my old congregation that there were generations of families who were JW's. From Grandparents down to grandchildren, brothers, sister, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews etc. If that person left they would lose all contact with those people.
Indeed. With a few exceptions, most jw's come from a long family history of j-dubs. It's obvious that most newly baptized are merely children of established j-dubs so it's
pretty easy to see that family circumstances are what keeps most of us physically in this cult(though many have checked out mentally)

I do think many here are in situations where they continue attending to please family members(or to at least avoid being shunned by them) So the 'anti-study' is a form of
therapy that allows that person to cope or deal with the circumstances they are in(being forced to attend)
I imagine it would also help that person create a good library of information that can be presented to loved ones when the time is right.
I'm a fader, I don't attend meetings, but I do collect various literature for research purposes so that I can prove to myself and others when necessary that the
watchtower is dishonest or at the very least misrepresents key points/facts.
i asked a jw fiend of mine, an elder in a spanish congregation in the usa (ohio), how many of those attending were illegal immigrants.
i was a little surprised by his answer that nearly all of them were!
i suspect this is true of most of the jw spanish congregations in the usa.
I currently live in SoCal and am not familiar with the procedures here, but when I lived in the midwest I had the understanding that it was a
'don't ask, don't tell' policy in regards to the immigration status of j-dubs in the congregations, therefore if you didn't admit you were illegal you could be appointed,
however if it was officially known you were illegal than you weren't allowed any priviledges such as being an ms or elder.

one of the most notorious things that jw's like to talk about are their expectations for the new order.
they talk about what things will be like, the kind of activities they'll enjoy, how resurrection will work, what the "worldwide cleanup work" will entail, which houses they'll appropriate, how they'll finally be able to have the kids they've put off, and so on.
here are some of the things i've heard witnesses say about the new order: they would personally explore the moons of jupiter for possible human colonization they would eat meat, since isaiah talks about "well oiled dishes filled with marrow" they would travel the world they would learn to play the piano they would research the "other scrolls that would be opened" they would play football (but not tackle football) they would have bible studies with newly resurrected ones they would speak hebrew (it's the language god gave adam and eve, you know, and we'll all have one language in the new order...) they would literally never feel any pain sensations ever again, even if they banged their elbow.
Btw.. How many will say that that they will rejoice to see that nobody is malnourished or oppressed anymore in the NW?? Do they think much about that?

That reminds me of my father(inactive for 20+ years), hasn't turned in any time yet I classify him as the most loving, generous, christian I know. Yet according to the J-dubs,
he's inactive, spiritually weak, or even an unbeliever.
When dad was in, he was a pioneer/elder and set such a 'fine example'(TM) Eventually he just quietly faded away.
On the other hand, I have(had) a friend that was never zealous and is now inactive. After years of no contact he emailed and let me know he's inactive but has nothing bad to say about
the j-dubs. I replied letting him know about my fade and that I am not against the average witness, just the organization itself. Well guess what, that was six months ago and he has never
emailed again. I guess he's an example of the 'spiritually weak' being hardcore about this messed up religion.

I've visited many foreign language kingdom halls when traveling abroad. I wish that I could have understood the lyrics in the various languages I heard to know if it was more
