Buy some fake atm receipts indicating that you have hundreds of thousands of dollars in your bank account. Keep many of these receipts in your wallet with your cell phone number written on each one. Pass them out as needed and wait for the phone to ring.

Initially I was joking about Aguest having created her own cult. Now I see that it's probably true.
Have fun justmom and others. Please refrain from drinking any kool aid.

From one cult to another. It seems that the OP has her own cult following here. This thread is hilarious. I agree with OTWO. Aguest needs to do some stand up cult comedy. Laughter worth dying for!

Faders are indeed a very large doormat
by moshe insorry, to be so blunt- for a whole day i have watched people here patting themselves on the back- we're a large army, oohh, look out wt, we might do something, well not today or tomorrow, but someday!
maybe, i have to just accept that a lot of jw's who are exiting the kh by the back door will never find a backbone to stand up to mummy and elder daddy.. jw's have a learned ability to see themselves in a better light than everyone else sees them.
ask a jw, if they are a charitable religion and they would likely all say they are, but when pressed to name a charity they will be unable to do so.

Thanks OTWO, that's the point I'm trying to make. Hanging around too long put me at risk for making the bad decisions that I have made. It's not that I needed to send in a DA letter, but I should have ceased all jw activities and functions instead of sitting on the fence.

Fading is a compromise. It is anything but taking a stand. Marrying a jw was one of many compromises I made throughout my life and ultimately a mistake that I made.

In california, the authorities can do a 3 day hold on you in a mental institution. I suggest that you refrain from telling others about the voice(s) you are hearing.

The consequences of leaving can be very painful and heartbreaking. The consequences of not leaving is far worse than I could ever imagine.
I didn't leave the moment I realized I was in a cult. Instead I continued my fade and married a jw. I now have a baby girl with my jw wife. Think about those consequences. Though it is now well known that I am not a witness, there is a significant risk of my baby girl becoming a cult member due to the influence of my wife and family. I was a fucking dormat and now it will be my fault if my child becomes a jw. It would have been much easier to simply lose my family.

Door to Door Message? A DIVERSION! Where does the MONEY go??
by Terry inthe door to door work is a sham.. the central activity of the watchtower bible and tract society is not spreading their so-called "message" about the kingdom of jehovah established in the heavens in 1914.. that's a load of propaganda.. the door to door activity is feckless in producing converts.
in fact, it is an immense failure of mammoth proportions!.
but, it is a diversion.

BXJW.
This thread is about the lack of financial transparency within the watchtower corp. No one(other than you) is suggesting that the governing body is hiding money under their pillows. No one(including you) knows where the money goes and that is the whole friggin point of this thread. Get it???

Stop going to the kingdom hall. While you're at it, let everyone at the hall know who the pedophiles are. Print some fliers. Wear a sandwhich billboard and walk in front of the kingdumb hall.
Not one person there has your best interests in mind. It's up to you to leave or change congregations if you do not like the current situation there. Depending on other people is foolish at best, dangerous at worst. It's time to do what is best for you and your family.
