Absolutely, I love different ideas.
for years i have believed what the wt says about michael the archangel really being another name for jesus christ.
but now i am reading lots of other non-witness books, i am beginning to question this teaching.. has anyone done any research on this particular subject.. your comments would be appreciated.

as a manager, i've used jesus as a model and his example has served me well.
i approach my job as a servant 1 , and the people under me are the ones i work for.
i follow the foot-washing principle2.
The Son of God has that perogative, doesn't he? Anyway, we just have the gospels' account that he did, and they are so contradictory I put little trust in them.
there is overwhelming evidence that the spiritual founder of the wts, c.t.
russell, was a prominent free mason in the pittsburgh community.
he went so far as to declare: "i am a free mason" in several of his lectures.
Nathan,
So Russell did the suing for libel, and lost. $100,000.00 sounds familiar.
I still think he personally didn't make any $ out of the sale of MW.

Um, Jesus was a Jew and followed the law covenant (missing not a jot or tittle) and so were his disciples. Paul started what we know as Christianity, well at least the epistles attributed to him.
I think tetrapod.sapien is a big fat bearded jerk.
Robdar's picture is so ugly I have to decrease the screen resolution on my monitor so I barely see it.
And AlanF is an agenda filled hater of God.
the message remains the same.
reform your lives or be chastised.
from the comments i have read about god's supposed non-existence in this forum, it seems that we will only learn the hard way.

the october 1st awake has a stern warning for "young ones" to stay away from witness websites.
they could actually be apostates you are .
talking to.
Information control. How terrifying. Now JWs will (even more) distrust printed material. While it's good to have a skeptical attitude, to totally dismiss something without even looking at it is ghastly, especially when being TOLD to. ("Sheep, thought I.." - Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange)
Scully got it, and like I said, I'll try to be a good boy from now on.

I really haven't read this thread, but I gotta agree with Robdar,
heh... sorry Lady Lee, I couldn't resist. I promise to be good from now on.
