I would ask him what he would do with all the homophobics, and also the people who judge other people and feed their line of BS

Obituaries for deceased JWs
by Nosferatu ini have been slowly preparing myself for when my jw mother dies.
she has diabetes, and she's not taking care of it.
she continues to eat and drink heavily sugared foods.

My Mom died last month. She had been a JW for 40 years. I could not bury her in that faith as the family doesn't share the same death thoughts. All we said in the paper was that she was a deeply religious person. We buried her though our church. The JW'S have a talk at the hall so they are free to do that. The family thought about making her funeral private but thought we have nothing to fear. And funerals are for the living so we didn't want all those people telling us there scoop on death.
In your case, if you have a wake and then the funeral, why not give the wake service to the JW'S and have the funeral in your faith. You could say the funeral will be private and tell all family members where it will be. The JW'S can feed there brand of crap-o-la at the wake service. Just a thought.......take care and good luck. It is good to plan what you are going to do ahead of time, makes it easier.

Blood giving =ed LIBERATION
by bem ini had to share a moment from my life that came today!!
it was one of those inspiring things that hits you like a lead balloon, you know the feeling?
like good grief that is awesome, to have something that should be so obvious, but so elusive that you hadn't noticed it till now.. when i was growing up it was mentioned how family members ( not raised a jw) had needed blood and different ones gave blood and felt good about themselves for having made the effort to make the donation.

Here I am now pleased to be making a effort to save lives instead of praying for their destruction
I thought you were right on the money with this one, you should be pleased!

Studying the WT
by startingover inmy loyal dub wife is careful not to flaunt her jw activities in front of me.
whenever she prepares a talk or does any studying, it is at a time when i'm not around.
she always leaves for the meetings with a smile, so she does not try to guilt me in any way.. yesterday i came home unexpectedly and she was studying her wt for the afternoon meeting.

Do you have children? In my family Mom was a JW and Dad was not religious. He kind of followed with the JW'S but was not a follower. Anyhow all the five kids in my family feel that JW'S wrecked there childhoods. I don't really feel that way but always felt a different because of this cult way of living. Just wanted to share...........if you don't have kids please think before you make them.....

Well that all sounds fine but I really want some creative ideas on what to do. I will think about Ebay, do you get more for them than the dime they cost when you get them at the door?
