  Were You More Depressed & Sick When You Were An Active Witness?

  has your life changed so much for the better that you even feel better since you left the "truth"?

  YES! I had panic attacks when I went to the Kingdon hall, I was depressed and for some strange reason every Tuesday night I felt sick.

  Now I NEVER feel sick on Tuesdays!

  Im sure Id still have a panic attack on entring a Kingdom Hall though.

  Remember when assemblies were fun?

  i just remembered when i was a kid and we would go to the assembly, it was fun because we got to buy new clothes and put extra effort into looking good.

  when we would get there you could save your seats and even save some for your friends, then go off looking for them.. i used to love our circuit assembly because of the food.

  it was at the assembly hall and there was a big kitchen, some of my favourite brothers worked in that kitchen, sometimes i was allowed to go in and help.

  LOL JK lots of guys got up to all kinds of things.

  When the DC was on we would go to the Ice Skating rink after the session, all of the "young ones" would meet there and it was time to strutt your stuff. The Ice rink would play music and there was limbo, it as so much fun. I met a few of my JW boyfriends there. There was hardly any adult supervision, the adults seemed to think having the pioneer teenagers there was good enough.

  Once all of the boys got into a fight with the ice hockey guys that policed the rink, my cousin was terrible with picking fights, he loved it. My now husband was there too, he was always ready to back up his friends. Funny I never thought we'd end up married.

  We had the JC's too afterwards and the witch hunts as the elders tried to nail down the bad apples. lol

  Those were the days, lmao, so funny what we did and got away with. My best friend was a pioneer, she was sleeping with my Uncle and also with her wordly landlord. OMG I was stunned when I found out, she eventually got DF'd.

  I used to love our circuit assembly because of the food. It was at the assembly hall and there was a big kitchen, some of my favourite brothers worked in that kitchen, sometimes I was allowed to go in and help. Lunch was often spaghetti bolognese or in the cafeteria section there were sit down seats and you got a 3 course meal with roast meat and vegetables, ice cream and apple pie for desert. YUM Through the back fence there was a playground and there was origionally a gate to go through to there. Eventually the playground was banned.

  At our district convention you could get gelato and they would give you a big one with all different flavours, I used to love chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and lemon all in one cone.

  Once they stopped food prep at assemmblies, all of the fun went out of them, they became dry like cardboard. Everything fun was frowned upon.

  i have a gift, a talent for getting myself locked into or out of places.

  ever since i was small i have managed to get myself locked in most host's lavatories and unable to quite mistress the ability to unlock the door.. today i surpassed myself.

  i just dont think i can take it anymore....my wife of 11 years is such a great gal... but we are just not connecting anymore......otwo says hang in there...as she may come around and wake up!!

  !....but the extreme differences in our lifes are starting to take a toll...and may be making me want to drink too much.....i should not need to self medicate like this!!

  !.....soooooo wish i had never woken up or could just deal with the real truth....what a rock to my world.......nothing will be the same.................................................oompa.

  Go to AA, it'll replace what you've lost in the Org and it actually works. You don't have to beilieve in god, you just need to believe in something, even if its just yourself or your kids. My friend goes, he has been sober 2 months for the first time in his life.

  I just saw on TV the other day, Steve Irwin was traveling in one of these countries and came across the gypsys that do this. They are "snake charmers" they sit by the side of the road and charm the cobras, only all of the cobra's have been defanged. Steve said they slowly die once the fangs are removed. They handle all of the snakes quite freely.

  sure you can trust them with your money but what about your children???.

  How do you know this? I think maybe I did exist before I was born and I will exist after I die. Maybe not in the same form, but my energy and matter will still exist at the very least. Perhaps my consciousness will exist too, I seem to recall previous lives in dream states.

  1. What is God? What is Holy spirit? These are serious questions that KILL all the silly beliefs about how the earth or universe got here..and here is why. Think about this for a second why would god exist eternally? Think of it as a picture showing NOTHING but God. How can God spring from nothing or just dwell in nothing if he did EXIST. How can God just APPEAR with no EXPLANATION. Its mighty funny how intelligent and sincere these folks who preach these silly fairy tales about life as fact is down right insulting to anyone with common sense and a naturally selected brain to reason.

  2. How can God exist forever without explanation??? Think about it folks..lets be real here.

  3. How can anything be created by a spiritual being from the nothing around him? Its very obvious that the Sun, Moon, and Stars are a product and evidence of matter.

  4. How can God be AWARE of ANYTHING much less ETERNAL? If from Billions of years luck struck..then what was the object that began God??

  Truth is we don't know where we came from, if there is a creative force, it could be some kind of god, or it could have been a spontaneous energetic reaction. It does my head in to think about it. How about we just enjoy the physical bodies we have and try to get along. ;o)
