I was one click away from doing the same thing when they had the topic something to do with your parents disowning you. I didn't because I was afraid my parents would get extremely upset and wouldn't do it anyway.

I just emailed the Dr. Phil show
by J-ex-W ini just emailed the dr. phil show with significant aspects of my story--not just the jw stuff but with being a large part of the complicated picture and said i would be willing to air my issues on their show.
the hidden horrors of marital sex abuse and of sleep-rape, specifically, must be exposed to the general public.
too many believe that it's not even possible to rape a sleeping woman...and they are soooo wrong, as my firsthand experience attests!!!

Demonic expereiences
by Tyrone van leyen inall bs and religion aside we've all heard the demon stories of the witnesses but has anyone actually had an personal experience such that you can't explain with your rational mind that shocked you and may lend credence to the possibility of something paranormal.
not something hyped, or emotional, but something your gut told you is just couldn't happen and did?

I just moved in a rent house and my cat had the hardest time there. She kept screeching for no apparent reason and would run around like something was going to get him. So one day my husband and I came home from getting groceries. I thought I heard something and I stopped. I looked into the room I thought the sound was coming from. I saw the door knob turn.. close... open.. I kept hearing like someone in there. Then.. the door slammed and I heard someone run out the back door and close the door behind them. I ran into that room to see if something was missing. The door there was closed and locked by the chain from the inside. That door was never opened in the laundry room and there was a spiderweb across from the door to the wall. After that I was terrified until I moved out a few weeks later.
Suspicious things happened later that worried me but they were things that could be explained by more natural suggestions.

I am just 5'7" but curvey and its hard to find jeans that look good. They all are too big in the waist if I can get them to fit my hips. I found a brand I like that are about 70 bucks each and its worth every penny.

I am not a JW because I realized that the Bible does not say what they tell you it does. It has a whole different message. That message is even more clear in another version of the Bible such as KJV or NIV (my favorite).

HELP! Trying to convince my parents I am going to meetings!
by stillAwitness ina few weeks ago i posted about about how my parents have been asking about wether or not my card has been sent to my "new congregation" since i moved out in july.
up until now, i have been stalling not knowing wether or not i wanted to just come out and say "i have not been going to meetings" or not take any action at all.
well someone left an interesting piece of advice on my thread that i have been contemplating doing.that maybe, perhaps i should just have my card sent to a congregation that isn't anywhere near the actual city i live in.

I tried to "live a double life" too. It seems that I was seen by a girl I went to high school with at a bar who told a guy in another KH who told my parents.... Its s small world.
I know that when I finally DAed, it was the best thing I ever did. I never imagined it would be so great. I thought I would be depressed and lonely. It turned out instead that the first fresh breath I took of freedom was the best feeling I have ever had.

No... he never answered my prayers.
Now I love him and he answers my prayers ... It just happened that I was praying for the wrong things. He never answered me praying for Bible Studies... but he did give me a wonderful life as a Christian.

A surprise result on my Dna geneaology test.
by moshe ini asked earlier this year if anyone had joined the national geographic's genographic dna ancestry research project.
i decided to do it a couple months ago and also signed up with the testing lab to see , if i matched with any unknown cousins.
it took about 2 months for the cheek swab to be processed and i have my results.

MY WITNESS FRIEND DIED
by Mary infurther to this topic i started a few weeks ago: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/124404/1.ashx i just found out that she died the other night.
we hadn't been close in a number of years, due to me becoming inactive, but i remember alot of the good times too.
she was older than me and offered to study with me when i was 14, which led to my getting baptized.. i remember that she tried for several years to get pregnant, and how happy she was when she finally conceived.

Why aren't the 144,000 put to a greater use?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inwe've been told that the 144,000 are providing the ''spiritual food'' and that there are a little over 8,000 of them on earth today.
every prayer that is ever given, they are thanked for providing the "spiritual food".. if that is the case ,why does the food(yum, yum) only come from new york?
why is the writing look like its written by sixth graders?

Maybe its because they don't really believe all of them. They think a lot of them are just crazy nuts.
