  Jehovah's Witnesses believe what the Bible says: "God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him." (Acts 10:34, 35) They view their fellow Witnesses in all countries as spiritual brothers and sisters, regardless of race or color. (Matthew 23:8) And the fact that such a global brotherhood does exist in the world today adds to the evidence that God's purpose will soon be realized.

  Uh.....yah.

  We go from a "God that is not partial to any (hu)man that fears him"(Acts)...to....fellow Witnesses viewing each other as bros an sistahs regardless of race of color. What's wrong with the paragraph?

  Anyone? Anyone?

  This is a prime example of "cherry picking".

  You take the scripture from Acts, which is CLEAR to any observer, that such said "God is not partial and accepts"...then you pick a scripture that talks about brotherhood to fit the square peg in to your eltist-point-of-view-circle-hole. Crimeny sakes....I think I have an IDEA!

  I will use WTS methods of "cherry picking" to prove a point:

  Followers of D8TA believe what the Bible says: " But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me." (Luke 19:27) They view that it is acceptable to vanquish any enemy of God.(Acts 13:10) And the fact that such persecution and vanquishing of Witnesses does exist in the world today, adds to the evidence that God's purpose will soon be realized.

  Atkins - good or bad?

  i keep hearing good and bad about the atkins diet.

  i started it a month ago not really to lose weight, but, i had heard that atkins eliminates sluggishness during the day and insomnia at night.

  what was startling was the amount of energy i gained.

  Try to have a balanced healtyw ay of eating instead of jumping on whatever fad diet is being promoted this month.

  He is blind...trust me. Not only did a drunk juggler (with years of experience in acid drop practice) in a seedy third world bar diagnose the entire world as to being blind, but this poster as being blind too. Just a word of warning...this poster is BLIND...and if all of you can't see it, then you're blind also!

  If it's red...like when you cut your skin and bleed, it's most likely you popped your spincter and nothing to worry about. Just be extra thorough when eh...wiping and cleaning yourself.

  If it's a real dark brownish to black color your getting, get to a hospital right away. You'll notice the color difference from your movements (since they tend to be on the brown side). It'll be sorta "maple syrupy" lookin...believe me, it's noticable.

  so the society is able to be more honest about their true feelings.

  as published in them.. a case in point: the latest yearbook and what it says about 9-11.. here's some quotes:.

  I swear to the gods I don't believe in, this is the absolute truth:

  Yadrif has a monkey harem, and enjoys watching that "squealing" part from the movie Deliverence.

  This explains (for n00bs) why he comes out swinging his banjo looking for a duel.

  what really started cheesing me off with the wt and awake magazines while i was still an active jw was the constant propaganda based on man versus jehovah.

  it was as if there was a great tug-of-war being propogated between man and god by the wt society.

  everything that man made was constantly criticised and belittled, while whatever jehovah made was so great!

  i would like to know how many people here are thinking of going back to the hall if the elders go and visit them.

  we had stories of people telling the elders that they had enough and wanted to get out.

  on the other hand, i am sure a few will go back, but we will not hear their stories as much because they fear the reaction of this board.
