The Case for Theism
by FusionTheism in"theism" here means "belief in a god" or "the worldview that an intelligent designer created the universe and life.
" ("god" here means a being with a mind who initiated and/or wound-up the universe, and designed life on earth)the most common claim that i see atheists making on twitter, is that "no evidence" exists in support of belief in a god.this post will remove any excuse atheists have for claiming "no evidence exists" in support of an initiator.
atheists can still reject this evidence as "weak," but they cannot truthfully say it does not exist.now, it is true that we do not have "observable, repeatable, falsifiable, empirical, scientific" evidence conclusively proving that an initiator exists, but we do have many lines of philisophical, experiential, and logical evidence.and... here... we... go:1:) many leading scientists, including stephen hawking, say that the space-time-matter universe had a beginning at the singularity/big bang.

I am such a fallacious snob... sorry lol and a bit of an asshole I might add.
I guess the goat herder moses, who may or may have not existed and wrote about a history that may or may not have happened could have been just as enlightened as us about our universe.
Why are we so afraid to say that bronze age myth plagiarizers didn't have morality, or science right, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

Five book were written by a goat herder, about he previous few thousand years... then lost... then miraculously found by Josiah many years later, look at that, and its rewritten and the original copies are lost to history (almost seems like the whole thing could have been made up or borrowed from much older foundation myths), all down through history this library gets written lost, found again rewritten, parts taken out other left in, and manipulated to fit political agendas of the time...
Why isn't that enough proof of God for you Fusion??? Seems pretty sound to me. Why do you have to get nasty ol' science involved.

Also lack of belief in god/intelligent design, is not a clam that they don't exist. Shit some people claim we were put here by aliens, or that we live in something like the matrix, where reality is like a computer program, or that everything is really a hologram, or on and on and on and on.....
Big deal, where is the solid evidence to any of it? You haven't provided any Fusion. There are all sorts of fantastic ideas as to what it all means, and how it all got here, the sad thing is that some of these outlandish things have more evidence to their probability than YHWH!!!
Instead of coming up with an end BELIEF, then trying to make any plausible possibility fit into that believe why don't you start at the other side, what does evidence show without any preconceived idea.
Here is something of value from Hawking FusionTheism
“When people ask me if a god created the universe, I tell them that the question itself makes no sense. Time didn’t exist before the big bang, so there is no time for god to make the universe in. It’s like asking directions to the edge of the earth; The Earth is a sphere; it doesn’t have an edge; so looking for it is a futile exercise. We are each free to believe what we want, and it’s my view that the simplest explanation is; there is no god. No one created our universe, and no one directs our fate. This leads me to a profound realization; There is probably no heaven, and no afterlife either. We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe, and for that I am extremely grateful.”

Bible Chronology, Egyptology and the Great Flood
by cappytan infact: bible chronology says the flood occurred between 2348 and 2370 bce, depending on which scholar you listen to.
fact: the great pyramid of giza was constructed 200 years before, in c. 2560 bce..
so, if you believe in a literal interpretation of noah's flood, you believe that the egyptians built a great civilization, were destroyed by the flood in 2370 bce, and then somehow, they reappeared immediately after the flood, picked right back up where they left off without skipping a cultural beat.. oh, and isn't it ironic that legitimately studying the great pyramid of giza debunks jw mythology now?

The monthly broadcast as an opportunity to wake up
by paradisebeauty ini was thinking that maybe the monthly broadcasts are a occasion for some jw's to wake up.
before those broadcasts they probably imagined that the gobgoverning y members are some very special peopleand that you see in their behavior and words that they are "chosen".
but now all jw's can see them for who they really are: average men, some full of themselves, some ridiculous, some just normal men with nothing special.

Very true. We are far more aware of content with the JW's, the Bible, the Broadcasts than in R&F. They just check out, do their time, look at the pretty lights, then rave about how wonderful the koolaid tastes. You have to pay attention to wake up.

One can only hope.
Its going to cause the very blind to continue on as strong as ever
It's going to cause the unsure to have horrible CD and fight their true feelings
It will likely cause those waking, to accelerate.
