  The Shunning truth is now out...

  i have been df'd for 9yrs as of july 31 (yay me!).

  so as i have written about previously in other posts, my whole family (parents + sister) made the choice to treat me as if i do not exist, and i have accepted it.

  last summer they made a blatant show of it as our family reunion, in that they would walk right by me and not say one word...prompting our extended family to question their actions.

  JW's opinions on bunker video

  the so called bunker video isn't just getting attention here but among jws as well.

  i've heard a fair share of cracks, some half joking half serious about the prospect of the video playing out in real life .

  but something else i've heard is that the video was meant to be figurative, an illustration representing the 'interior rooms' prophecy..

  That do just enough to imply they are saying its close. But also not saying so years from now everyone can deny it. A rank and file told a friend of mine the end is near. Ask them in ten years why they falsely said something was going to happen and it's 1975 all over again.

  God's name

  and then, there is the video with geoffrey jackson (gb) clearly saying that the original name of god is not known and the use of jehovah is because of it is the most used variant in english.. link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwv_8ocvkj8.

  so, something contradicts here, isn't it?.

  this weeks book study lesson was on martha, the sister of lazarus.

  the chapter in the "imitate their faith" book praised her for being "industrious".. the conductor at our congregation meeting was just positively gushing about how "industrious" modern-day jw women are.. he was so exciting, he could barely get the words out.

  following is not an exact quote, but conveys the gist:.

  I remember hearing many similar things over the years, even before I woke up and looking around in discomfort as the 1950's style rhetoric spewed forth.

  "Now brother lets say you want to do something nice for your wife so you buy her a new vacuum..."

  or "frying pan".

  Inevitably I would see other also looking around in disbelief.

  I know him and his wife and yes, they are as indoctrinated as you can imagine. Many of these long time bethelites I knew, they have invested so much of their life and energy I don't see them every seeing it any different unless they are a special case. Ken is a nice enough person, his wife a southern lady is a wack job and super hardcore jw. Her watchtower comments were fire and brimstone.

  Here is my take away from this. They are being deceitful. When ever in your life would you expect to here from an elder, speaking in front of witnesses a specific instance of apostate propaganda in detail??? NEVER. So what do they do? they find something benign, some obscure Russell reference from 1910, that was falsified, if in fact this ever even really happened. So they present this, an unconfirmed, obscure, case of deception as the MO of apostates. Who is deceiving who?

  How about present some other Apostate issues Brother Flodin? There are far to many for me or anyone here to list, but I guarantee you they are not cherry picked. Why not talk about 607 BC lie? or UN affiliation? Or child abuse lawsuits? This is a total show meant to drag believers down the path further. This will make anyone who has never looked at anything apostate or questioned the org see everything as complete lies no matter what. However, anyone who has seen things that were NOT forged or misrepresented, they might just see this for what it is. A desperate organization losing its ass to the information age.

  you may think of jehovah's witnesses as being an american religion in a country where freedoms exist and are prized.

  you may think of the organization's legal battles in the supreme court to protect certain rights and freedoms.

  Multi culturism is amazing.

  F*cked up religio-political ideas are not.

  The world needs to admit that 'Islam/Muslim' is not a race not a culture and not a religion but a dangerous ideology. Its anti culture because it doesn't accept any other ones. If someone moves into your neighborhood and subscribes to sharia, they don't like or want your culture. That's is a fact.
