And so it begins...

wife and i have not reported a single hour of fs in 3-4 months.

while my wife is mostly doing for me (positive thing), i know she would have rather done it.

elder asked me to turn in my fs report this past week and then he added... "we need to talk".

Here for support. You can play along with it. I have told them I got fed up with the idea of counting time. And it's not that I don't do spiritual things. And compassionate things. And I'm happy now with that. When/if I get to the point of turning in time I will let them know. The elders I have delt with in my last two halls since stopping. They have gone through the routine they have to, but they are good guys and respectful of my choices. All about perception. The rat race of counting time and kissing ass wasnt good for you.

Reports of lower memorial attendance

i have heard a lot of reports from kingdom halls in the area that there was less than last year, for both time slots.. we had the first time slot and we were down 50+/- compared to last year.

last year we had the lobby full of people standing and this year we had empty seats and no one standing.

we ran out of parking last year and this year we made it.. like i said i am hearing quite a few reports of this from halls in our area.however, somehow the number seem to inch up every year.

my wife was talking about the new LDC arrangement and made it seem like halls are busting at the seams, I can only gather that is NOT here in the US as I see the opposite everywhere I go.

I love this stuff but it is so frustrating. Why? because it is true facts and clear evidence of the witnesses polishing their past, but on the flip side its the most impossible thing to use to try and wake someone up. because as I posted before, they care little about truth if it interferes with UNITY, I would love to show this to witness family, but they would freak out, 'WHERE DID YOU FIND SUCH OLD MATERIAL ON THE ORG"???? "YOU MUST BE TALKING TO APOSTATES!!" The truth sadly takes a back seat. But I love this, thank you for your hard work.

Also why did the angels have no obedience "tree" since the tree according to the insight book was symbolic of god being the final say on obedience. When you research sin as I did many years ago, its interesting to note the "original sin" did not happen on earth. No, it happened in heaven with an arrogant angel made the decision to go against god's wishes. Satan committed the original sin, Adam and Eve were casualties. yet it seem for 6000 years according to this book of myth, man has bore the brunt of the pain and suffering while the original sinner is blamed for inflicting it.

Its gonna be eye opening (probably only for a very few people) if the attendance starts going down and the partakers keep going up. Although I think here in the states yes attendance is plummeting, not just with memorial but also regular meetings, but in places like latin america its probably exploding.

Second this is why meeting and hearing these things make me more of an unbeliever than any exjw website. So many reasoning fallacies, so much propaganda, so much stupidity.

One thing I thought that got me wondering, was Jesus called Satan a murderer.

Now we have all seen the charts of of how many people in the bible God killed Vs Satan Killed. Pretty astounding, however if you even suggested such a claim to R&F they would say well Satan is responsible for ALL mankind's death. All of humanity.

So thinking about that, something that has bothered me in the past I keep mulling over. In this work of fiction (the bible), who's fault is it? Adam and Eve and now by extension because of the desert gods perfect justice all of humanity are sentenced to death. Because they sinned! So then isn't Adam and eve the murderers? and Satan just told a fib? Or if as jesus said he is the murderer, then weren't Adam and eve just genuinely deceived? Then Satan would be the guilty one?

Now I know Witnesses will say they are all guilty because that is the only way it will make sense, but from a theoretical standpoint, who's crime is it? If satan mislead mankind, then isn't it just that, misleading? or if Adam and eve acknowledged the risk and consequences, then was satan really guilty of murder for them pulling the trigger?

This is why i hate all this crap, it makes my head hurt, and the only way to numb the nonsense of the bible and jw.org is to because a mindless cult drone.

however eventually the husband prays to jehovah that if jehovah will help him find a leak in a construction he is working on, he will go to a meeting and presto, the next day jehovah help him find the leak so now he is a witness..
