I have always found them entertaining. Maybe in the way some people watch professional wrestling. I joke about them. Some are good some are really out there. My thought is this. With religion. Conspiracies. Everything. You should be able to entertain any thought and be able at the end to not accept it I think that is where many get lost. They accept god. Religion. And conspiracy. I think all these things exercise the mind and imagination. But you should really only accept as fact what is truly solidly evidence based. I love to tell people the moon landing didn't happen to get a rouse out of them. But really I have no freaking idea if it did or didn't and I really don't care much lol.

Do you ever feel strangely drawn towards Conspiracy Theories?
by JW_Rogue inafter mentally awakening to the idea that jws don't have the truth i strangely found myself delving into all encompassing conspiracy theories.
not that i believed them but something about them seemed quite fascinating.
i was especially drawn to the idea of a new world order/one world government.

Island man I agree. Also at the convention I noticed every aspect of everything they say deals with two groups. Active in witnesses. Or people who haven't become yet. Only in about 1 minute of the last talk did they warn everyone about apostates. But it was a strong cult like warning. I think they are playing it safe not to mention what is their biggest threat as if it does not exist. -

I was floored by the Jesus videos as well. I got into for two days with my wife. Some wrote a story about angels announcing something so that's proof and if you doubt your dumb!
I wanted to puke as well. I asked my wife when that is what they consider proof then what about joseph smith? Or Muhammed?
When the narrator started talking I wanted to laugh. Seemed like an snl skit. "Hello friend, may you have peace" *barf*
Also the audience was like gasping when they first showed adult jesus like it was really him or he has never been portrayed on film before. Lol. It's not over my friend there is more to come. Typical jw logic trying to take the story of Jesus and making it about doubters. Even as an atheist I find this quite and insult to his story.

The dangers of the Internet as they called it would have had critical or negative information about the borg mostly on forums such as this. Now the danger is mainstream. Their blunders aND embarrassing reality is popping up in the media and is all over something like Wikipedia. Now of couse Wikipedia is not infallible, but it's not all wrong either. Reading that 607 bce is an erroneous teaching of the jw's is on Wikipedia. Not an "apostate" site.
