Yep, "see we condemn child abuse" do they want an award for that? That is easy to do, want an award change your arrogant policies, they are blowing up in your faces. -

A difficult yet necessary decision
by Brother Jeramy inthe past five weeks have been perhaps the most painful in my life as a witness.. some months ago a young man (i'd say in his late thirties or early forties) began attending meetings at my kingdom hall.
he had just moved to my area from another state.
he had disassociated himself from his home congregation many years back, when he was 20 years old and going through many of the typical trials and temptations most young men experience.. two of the elders met with him initially, and they later shared the details with the body of elders.

Its an overwhelming moment when you begin to see the organization as dangerous and toxic. Which it totally is. -

Why using Jehovah for God's name is as good as using Yahweh
by oppostate inin another thread i wrote some notes about why using jehovah in english is as good as using yahweh.
i'm starting a discussion on this topic because it sounds quite ignorant to hear people talk of the monk who started using it in latin without really understanding why the monk did so.. the spanish dominican monk, raymundus martini, in 1270, didn't get hoodwinked by an old jewish superstition about pronouncing the divine name with the vowel points of another word.. 1. first the vowel points of adonay and jehovah cannot be the same for grammatical reasons.
you just can't use the same vowel points because some vowels aren't paired with some consonants in pronouncing hebrew words.

Hebrew names that being with yod though are consonants though no? Isaac for instance. Or Jerusalem.
Then still the E in the beginning, why is it not an A?

"the governing body asked me..." I am sure its more like "The legal department begged me"
Also this old PSA, very interesting, very covert, I am sure this was a legal move from my own experience in business and legal, they didn't really promote it, but by releasing it they put something on record back then showing "proactivity" if you will. Very clever and will probably elude the skepticism of most R&F.

I never use Wikipedia as a reference! I am college edumacated after all, that is not allowed.
I still have no idea how any of that give you a certainty that we know how or even if it ever had a pronunciation.
So where does the e come from in the beginning?
And I think Martini is just one of many who make this whole subject silly, he may not be the "inventor" of Jehovah as you claim, but seriously, I think the old scribes are playing a mean trick on anyone determined to try to figure this out. Like putting someone in a round room and telling them to pee in the corner.
Tell me Opp are you an expert on Ketiv/Qere?
Also why does gerlad calim the yod as a vowel?

But they did not use adonai all the time anyway, they had to mix it up. Sometimes did they not use the vowel points for Elohim? So some texts didn't read Adonai, Adonai?? I am of course talking about K's & Q's can't remember if you mentioned those or not, but I don't remember.
And again wasn't that Gertoux's deal who you site, that shema is the vowel source?

Come back Opp, ok look just to show I am not a bad guy, lets talk about Gertoux (see I didn't call him your boy), wasn't his deal that the word shema (the name) was used for the vowels instead of Adonai? our answer? -

can't go back to the bridge yet, I still have questions, this is how I learn by listening.
So you do not believe the name to be Hybrid, Correct?
Also for a fact you state there was no mixing of Adonai OR Elohim? into JHVH?

Lol come on the goofy video was hilarious. I was laughing about that for some time.
You should seriously write for the WT Opp, they need more fact checkers like you.
You have to forgive my sense of humor because to me a religious belief system that claims man was made 6000 years ago, but then mostly wiped out shortly after and so on and so on. Doesn't deserve that much research because its BS from the get go. So to me its all a big JOKE, so I like to have fun, because lets face it, its not serious.
