I have to think that if the quote from 'a famous mexican author' is real, that the author mistook the title and is thinking of Frankl's book.
BINGO!
as books go, it is tiny, but it is immeasurably great in its essence.
it can be carried in ones pocket, but if it were found in a library of 90,000 different books, it would probably turn out to be the most important one of them all.. wow a strong endorsement of the bible?
er no this is the wtbts we are talking about here.

rand paul set off the scanner at the airport.
they wanted to do a full body patdown.
he refused it and asked to be scanned again.
What would be amazing is if the TSA agents actually recognized the pasty-faced Mr. Paul first of all, and then secondly, decided to "single him out" for further scrutiny. Based on what?
If they decided to do that, it would have to be as a group of 4-5 people, and it would have to be pretty spontaneous since they don't have knowledge ahead of time of who's traveling. And how do they do that? A nod, a wink - "Let's give this mo'fo' a bad time - he's a Republican"?
Puh-leese.

This happens to us all the time (Mr Bee has some metal parts) - by the time I collect our stuff and tie my shoes, he's done. He's not bothered by it, nor does he feel molested.
Rand Paul is a jackass.

I think they all understand that this is just play-acting. Like Newt's "outrage" at John King's question about open marriage.
adios, amigos!.
the bees leave southern california at o'dark-hundred in the morning for ten days in the great state of florida (bts territory!).
lax to orlando, then moving towards tampa for mr bee's golf tournament, on to a place called rotonda (yup - a development shaped like a rotunda) for a few days, golf lessons for me, then north for a couple of nights with friends in eustis.
We had a great time! We must have been near Burn - we played in Bradenton, stayed in St Armands, Lido Key, Sarasota - beautiful place. The water was clear and blue, the sand powdery white, so fine that it squeaked underfoot. Drove through Lake Suzy, Port Charlotte, Naples. Drove out to Gasparilla Island - apparently the W Bushes were there for a holiday month.
The golf was great - just too much water! I left a few golf balls there.
We saw a few alligators, lots of osprey, herons, owls, egrets and a couple of eagles. We didn't see any noseeums, but we did get bit by a few.
We were there a few years ago, but this time was better. Definitely will return.
i really have nothing much more to say, except to say thank you to all the people who have contributed to me in my threads and all the people whom i battled over the years.
the battles have been most entertaining and enlightening.
i've learned a great deal from them, and i've laughed a great deal from the idiotic attempts of fools to make a coherent argument (think "dubs").. it's been a roller-coaster ride for me over a decade and it has consumed a huge amount of my time.
There's always something more to say.............unless you're dead. And you ain't.
your opinion please:.
So, freydo, you're saying that the cluster that is the GOP is the fault of President Obama, Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton, the entire media and John King? Seriously?

Some News Leaves People Knowing Less
According to the latest results from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind Poll, some news sources make us less likely to know what’s going on in the world. In the most recent study, the poll asked New Jerseyans about current events at home and abroad, and from what sources – if any – they get their information. The conclusion: Sunday morning news shows do the most to help people learn about current events, while some outlets, especially Fox News, lead people to be even less informed than those who say they don’t watch any news at all.
