  Mankind's sufferings who's to blame?

  there is and always was a lot of suffering in the world since the beginning of history, so who is to blame?

  is it a god that doesn't care or a mankind that refuses to be reconciled with god and through that find salvation?

  Reputations

  do the jw's in your community have an overall good reputation?.

  are they generally known for helping their neighbors in times of need?.

  are they known as people who contribute and give back to the local community?.

  I work with my local community groups. (we do clean-ups graffti abatement, greenspaces, etc.. ) I know that Dub's live in the same city i do but they are too busy pretending to knock on doors to actually make the world a better place.

  Are the demons harassing you?

  i found this particular article in the 'questions from readers' section of the april 15th 2006, watchtower, incredibly shallow and non specific.

  it did not define what a jw was to consider a 'demon attack' and could well explain why the average jw considers their car breaking down, on their way to fs an out and out attack from satan and his deemunz!.

  I have never experinced anything that would make me believe in spirit forces. I wish i had. It would clear up a lot. I even read "the lesser keys of solomon." hoping to invoke some kind of reply. But in answer there came none...

  A lot of that has died down since the FDS made so many statements about sending that stuff around. I haven't seen any "reports" or experinces in my e-mail in a while. They abound from the stage however.

  I always hated, "upbuilding activity.." You can't have a party you have a "get together." Ad it has to be "upbuilding."

  Anyone notice in this weeks watchtower the use of the word "steward" instead of slave. Maybe they are tired of being slaves.

  Research project

  wife wants to go to the library and research 607 from other sources.

  i already have mountains of evidence on that.

  but i was wondering if anyone knew of some other little nuggets i could slip in while we are there.

  Project went well. It helped that i had printed the chart from that other thread and had plenty of places to look. I also showed her the intro to the old awakes that said that the generation of 1914 wouldn't pass away. I am going to show her tuesday at the KH lib the divine plan that shows where the dates originally came from. (the great triangle...)

  She wants to write to the society for clarification. I told her this would result in unpleasant consequences but i think i'll let it run it's course.

  Would Jesus forgive Satan if he repented?

  asked the elder conducting my book study today...he didn't know.

  how about a little help here old buddy.. if no...then why continue to "preach the good news" to convince them to repent?

  ......I was always perplexed on God's choice of putting Paul over all his faithful disciples, after all he was hunting and killing them. Why do you think He would do such a strange thing? Could there be a reason....

  In the phillips translation it leads the reader to believe that God punished paul by making him the most devout. Kind of like your sentence in hell is to be a pioneer..
