Assembly/Convention Likes and Dislikes
by KW13 ini really hated the long sessions without breaks and how the brothers would say things, i think well aware that they'd get applause.
"so bro's and sisters....don't you...bla bla bla?
" **insert lots of clapping**

i liked to watch the inapropriately dressed sisters hug each other. it gave me naughty lesbian fantasies. i also liked the last prayer because i knew that i was that much closer to getting home and ummm... using the bathroom...
i didn't like the lunch breaks, they were too long and i wanted to hurry up and get home.

i would like to be a fly on the wall during an important elders meeting just to see how exactly they sort things out. also, at a gov. body meeting while they are deciding on new doctrines.

missed out
by aoxo inbecause i grew up in the truth i missed out on a whole lot of kids at school that i could have been great friends with.
also a couple of girls that i could have had a first relationship with.
i missed out on family moments each year exchanging gifts with relatives that i could have enjoyed (or not enjoyed) seeing during holidays.

i also had many problems with suicidal tendancies. the worst blow was when my sister started seeing this worldly guy and went through a rough time deciding what to do about it. she told me later that she had some suicidal thoughts because of all the guilt she had from it and not being able to be happy with someone and be a J-dub at the same time. that got me mad enough to realize how unhealthy the jw's realy are... aoxo

Brandi Binder - JW with half a brain?

there was talk about some reputable magazine like sports illustrated or something like that with a picture of michael jorden the milwaukee basketball player sitting at his office desk with one of the jw mags lying on the table. don't know if this was an urban legand but several jdubs i know said that they saw the picture. so everyone was like "yeay he's going to be a witness!" there was also a news report on the milwaukee station fox 6 news several years ago about this little boy who was killed (i think for some gang related thing) and in his pockets was found a paradise tract, so again everyone was like "maybe he'll make it in the new system!" if this girl had half a brain ( im assuming that it is the cerebral cortex that was removed ) then its no wonder that she may find the witness teachings interesting.
