hi - just curious about how you all are making it - you working some shitty job?

- a damn rocking job?
from a career oriented perspective, i have an awesome job with lots of opportunities for advancement.
i get paid more than i would think worthy, but it's because i work in a very competitive industry.
somedays, i'm happy because it's a means to an end.
other days, i dont understand how i ended up there... day after day, sitting at a desk, sitting in meetings...
i feel like i should be working at starbucks, listening to good music and drinking 4 L of coffee/day.
for my job, i need to come up with a couple dozen drink ideas for spring/summer.
i need some fruity, tropical type shyte.
i have quite a few that i've concocted myself, but being mainly a beer/whiskey sort of fella, my imagination is running a little thin when it comes to the frooty dpt.. any ideas?

i'm not sure whether there is a god or not.
so far as i can tell, there isn't much evidence to support his existence... .
but sometimes i find myself in what appears to be a prayer.
actually, i can count on one hand, the times i've actually said "amen".
when i thought i believed in god, i felt like he was a friend and not so much a deity, hence the long rambles and chit chats.
when i was young, i used to pretend that i was holding his hand while i walked to school...
then again, i also had an imaginary friend...
anyway, i've been experimenting with "prayer" as i'm not convinced either way whether he exists or not. i've tried praying/talking to the stars, trees, wind... but i suppose like infamous pointed out, i'm just having really creative conversations with myself.

note: as a jdub, i never used to pray in the conventional way
"through jesus..." i mostly had long rambles and conversation with god.

i'll be in TO tuesday feb 28 - sun mar 5th, but will be visiting wit family members during the weekend, so i don't think i could escape with a "i'm gonna hang with some apostafriends. don't wait up!". hopefully we can all meet sometime during the week?
