i am so sick of being bothered by jws(we are inactive);every weekend we can count on someone from the hall stopping by either saturday or sunday.
it makes me mad because i know they are counting time with me.
a sister from the hall just called to see what is wrong, why we haven't been to meetings.
this is impossible...ask any anti on the board..we witnesses are unloving, uncaring and pay you no
attention unless your selling our Watchtower magazines.

It is only by the will of the Almighty that his earthly organization keeps going. Nothing is to be gained except the approval of Jah andall the blessings that he bestows......praise be to Jah!!!
If the above is, in fact, true, then wouldn't that also show that all the other religions have God's blessings and it is His will that they are still around and growing at a faster rate than the Org.? Sort of makes one wonder!
For me, I have no use for any of them. By the above reasoning, only the wealthiest people in the world have God's blessing, since he saw fit to reward them woth wealth. Never mind the Bible says it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to pass through the gates of heaven.
As far as I am concerned, it is just whoever does the best PR that advances and misleads who.

mine was the treatment of my wife.
Believe it or not, Wham, reading what happened to others and sharing what happened to me helps heal the pain many of us feel. Pain acquired at the hands of Jehovah's Witnesses. I am also active, under another name, in a group on Yahoo consisting of whoever served in the unit I did in Vietnam. Sharing our stories of what happened then and how our lives have been since helps us all put things in perspective and also we can help others who are in need simply by being there and listening.
How many times has the Watchtower brought out, "quick to listen, slow to speak?" Excellent advice. Too bad more in positions of responsibility within the JWs don't follow it. In my personal dealings with elders, often elders 10 to 15 years younger than me and who have never experienced life other than through a Kingdom Hall, they were way too interested in "setting me straight," even though they made absolutely no efforts to get the truth. They judged me and then convicted me. Of course, if I submitted to their will and served my time in reprove, all could be forgiven. Why should I have admitted to lies to make them feel superior?
So, I am here seeking help by helping any who wish it.
Mind if I ask why you are here? If you are a JW in good standing, why are you coming to a site dedicated to those who are called apostates? If you desire help, just let us know and many of us are willing to help you.

ive seen posts here and there in the past months on this board that talk about ex-dub activism but i hate to admit this but most of the activities mentioned are rather ineffective in really doing anything but making us ex-dubs feel collectively better.. we have discussed protesting at conventions, making a protest walk, peeing on c.t.
russells grave, playing some games at local kingdom halls, and playing mind games with dubs online.
i really dont have anything against these forms of activism but i dont think they accomplish much.. what i therefore dare suggest and beg for your comments are new ideas of how we can redirect our anger more effectively and support actions and causes that sting the borg like hell and also help others out the door.. i have nothing but praise for the actions of people who take a stand like silent lambs, or others who have setup informative ex-dub websites and i think one good thing we could do is support these efforts by doing some fund raising.. i also would love to stick something right up the ass of the gb but im trying to think of just how to do it.
How about letters to the editors cautioning people about pedophiles going door to door? Of course, make brief mention of some JWs being convicted of pedophelia and that they are known to be most active going door to door? DOn't slander any Witnesses, just mention to people to be cautious when answering their doors or letting children answer the door.

After being inactive for about 4 years or so, some elders decided I was a piece of crap. Why? Because I had a hold of my step-sons shoulder and he twisted and it left a mark about half the size of my thumb on his shoulder. The next day, at book study with his Mom, he was spirited away by his aunt and the elders and another "sister." Of course, he had already told them that I beat him the night before. They took pictures and everything of this minute mark. Then, "brother dickwad" called and requested a meeting bwteen him and I and the step family the next Saturday.
Before the meeting, tho, step-son approached the school officials about this same mark since the elders didn't immediately remove me from the house. His counselor told him to go back to class as there was no mark evident on his shoulder. This was the very next day.
"Brother dickwad" showed up Saturday as planned, with "brother assinine." I was busy in the other room. They waited some 10 or 15 minutes for me to come in the room before turning to the wife and ask her if it were okay to open with prayer. Immediately, I let them know that I was the head of the house and although inactive, I was still the head. Even if DF'd, I was still the head and those sort of questions are to be directed to me, as per Watchtower teachings. Of course, this set the tone for their little game. This so-called meeting was nothing more than an effort to ellicit an angry response out of me over anything they could so they would be able to trump up grounds to DF me. In time, it worked. I blew up and physically ejected them from my house.
I immediately got of a letter of complaint to the Watchtower. In about two weeks, I received a poorly typed copy of a letter informing me that a judicial committe had been convened in my honor as I was "prone to wrath." Of course, both "brother dickwad" and "brother assinine" were sitting on said committee. This letter was even certified.
I got out my Watchtower CD, the elders manual I copied from the web and researched both. I then wrote and mailed a three page letter back to "brother dickwad" explaining from the watchtower itself why his committee was in violation of both the Bible and the Watchtower literature. I closed by telling them I refused to attend said meeting. I never heard anything back. Probably becuase I threatened legal action if they continued in their harrassment of me.
Almost a year later, I just got sick and tired of the whole mess and wrote them a letter of disassociation. Mostly to remove their ability to continue harrassing me.
Today, step-son ran away and is living with his prim and proper JW aunt. She is about to go nuts dealing with him. Her husband and mother-in-law, also dubs, want him gone, but really like the state assistance they are receiving in the form of money. Money, by the , which they wanted me to pay. Since I am not the blood father of these brats, the State of Washington says I have no child support commitment. They took the wife to court and have assessed her $10 a month support. The kid regrets running away, but that is his problem. If he learns no other way, he will now learn that once you make your bed, you have to lie in it!
While other KHs turn a blind eye to abuse, the hall I used to attend manufactures it where they can to get rid of those they don't personally like.
Where else but a Kingdom Hall can one find such love? (sarcasm)

i was talking to a friend and she told me that at her hall they gave a special part (i beleive it was during the meeting where they use the km)(man my memory is fading fast.
any way it is late and i am rambling.
my point is that they came out with a pretty balanced awake that made it sound as though a college education wa ok with them.
Just like the elders I kicked out of my house a couple years ago, it looks like they too believe you have read between the lines to properly understand Watchtower literature. Some "pure language" they have with so many different personalities reading between the lines, huh?

I don't know if I would really call it junk science, but neither would I call it a fact. All I can find is a theory advanced by some. This theory is refuted by modern known laws of physics. But, to creationists, there are no known laws governing God.
Personally, I don't know if there was or not. The Watchtower should not teach this theory as fact, though. I see it as another argument to distract us from loving each other. Amazing how many teachings from so many religions actually cause division amongst man instead of bringing man together.
