2005 - The year the Society began its decline (without anyone noticing)!
by cedars ini've just finished an article for randy over on freeminds.org, which i've submitted to him for review.
hopefully it should be online soon, so please keep checking!.
the article discusses the fact that the watch tower society is already in decline, and suggests the year 2005 as the turning point.

Great Quote. I love it. I have used it with my son who will not speak to me. Still doesn't work, as most of the rf "know what the Society really means" but won't say.
What a bunch of forked tongue devils.

I swallowed their crap for 45 years. I believed their crap so much that instead of going to the Coast Guard Academy in 1965, I went to prison for neutrality in 1966.
What a bunch of life ruining hypocrites!
What an idiot I have been.

what are your opinions of ewatchman.com
by Evidently Apostate inlooking at some of his responses to comments on his videos on youtube i think he is rude, and condecending, not unlike the jw's he defends.
if he is trying to defend the majority of the doctrine why do it from outside the org?.

In 2004 I came across him on my way out. I was super impressed at first and happy to be part of his group. The more I was there the more I realized that in reality he was fairly arrogant and imperious.
He "disfellowshipped" a large group of us from his forum because of our anti-WT views. Go figure. He was the leader of the pack, but only wanted his negative views to be known.
I bought his book and read quite a bit of it. Just more WT tripe in a different package.
I finally figured out that his only claim to fame was being a "partaker" (anointed) about the same as the Witnesses holding on to 1914. If you give up on that date, there is no modern day organization of Jehovah. If he gave up entirely on the orgnization, he would lose his standing as the modern day Ezekiel who was in charge of bringing the organization back to Jehovah.
Really and truly a load of garbage.
Anyway, that is who Robert King is to me. Mentally ill and a cult leader.

WT's idea of Disaster Relief
by Juan Viejo2 inhttp://www.jw-media.org/jpn/20110316.htm.
"in cooperation with local authorities and other relief agencies, the witnesses arranged to help meet the immediate needs of their fellow worshippers and other victims in japan, establishing three teams to help organize disaster relief.
these teams are working diligently to contact congregations of jehovahs witnesses in the devastated areas and care for the spiritual, physical, and material needs of their fellow believers.

The WT view of disaster relief is to send groups of witnesses in to an affected area to work free for the victims of the disaster so that the victims will assign the insurance benefits over to the WT.
Therefore, well-intentioned brothers and sisters are screwed to the wall while the WT leaves the area with a bag full of dough.

JW kids are offically the brightest
by mtsgrad in"jehovah's witnesses have the lowest retention rate of any religious tradition.
only 37% of all those who say they were raised as jehovah's witnesses still identify themselves as jehovah's witnesses.".

The new Ice Age Cometh!
by Gill inhttp://aolsearch.aol.co.uk/aol/redir?src=websearch&requestid=6b69327903d3d481&clickeditemrank=1&userquery=sunspot+activity+for+2008+iceage&clickeditemurn=http%3a%2f%2fglobalwarminghoax.wordpress.com%2f2008%2f04%2f23%2fsunspots-and-a-possible-new-ice-age-updated%2f&title=%3cb%3esunspots%3c%2fb%3e+and+a+possible+new+%3cb%3eice+age%3c%2fb%3e+%28updated%29+%c2%ab+the+global+warming+%3cb%3e...%3c%2fb%3e&moduleid=matchingsites.jsp.m&clickeditempageranking=1&clickeditempage=1&clickeditemdescription=webresults.
i hope this link works but there has been virtually no sunspot activity since the beginning of this year and the suns magnetic field is down 60%.. if this link does not work, you might like to try googling: sunspot activity 2008 iceage.. the last time this happened we moved into a little ice age which lasted from 1100 to 1800.. global warming lies may well have met their match with reality.. so how will they tax us for the 'ice age?
do we get our tax back that we paid because of 'global warming'.. is this why they have made fuel so expensive....because they know what is coming and they want to make a killing?.

I have only 'spot' read this thread, but I can see one thing very clearly already;:
The term, "GLOBAL WARMING" HAS BEEN SACKED.
Now, "CLIMATE CHANGE" will be the new phrase. Wonder what happened to good old global warming being such a fact?
Now we are going to freeze our asses off. I can see it now-------headline alert----"please DO NOT conserve fuel any more--we need the greenhouse gasses to help warm up the atmosphere----
Who would have guessed?

Where would you relocate in Texas and why?
by White Dove ini love the heat, humidity, palm trees, and the ocean.
at the same time, i don't want to get flooded out by a hurricane.. do you think there are places far enough above sea level that don't get flooded in houston?.
would you recommend dallas as a good place to relocate?.

I am a Texas EXPERT.
I lived in the Tyler area, Luling, San Marcos, Austin, Buda.
The BEST place to live along the I-35 corridor is New Braunfels. There are two clear, cold rivers that flow throught town, the Comal and the Guadalupe.
San Marcos would be the second best, along the I-35 corridor. The I-35 corridor is really crowded. My only real objection.
I also love Junction, which is in west Texas, as well as Del Rio. Both towns have rivers, but both are pretty remote. One little sleepy town that I really liked was Uvalde! Beautiful little place, very close to Garner State Park and the Rio Frio.
My single favorite "spot" in Texas is probably the campground at Garner State Park.
Uvalde is about 60 minutes west of San Antonio.
Kerrville is another nice town, along with Fredricksburg.
Dallas is not a very nice place to live, in my opinion. Too many people, too crowded.
East Texas is too humid.
The Valley (Brownsville, etc.) is pretty humid too.
Houston is the place they would stick it in, if the world needed an enema.
For what its worth.

My wife, Karen, was down on the field on some of those days. She was 13.
If I remember, the attendance of Yankee Stadium and Polo Grounds was 263,000. Could remember wrong.
