Disassociation letter2

so... i finally have thought about somethings that i want to say in my letter to disassociate... in my last topic starter regarding this, someone had meantioned disfellowship papers?

why would they be sending disfellowshipment papers if i take myself out?.

in the letter, i am thinking about making the one to my friends kinda short and sweet and to the point.

In the letter, I am thinking about making the one to my friends kinda short and sweet and to the point. I don't think that they really need to know the details of the why I am leaving. Or should they? I don't want my personal life to be the talk of the congos so the less they know, the better. right?

As far as my elders go.. They need to know the basic basics of why, I can understand. I know this will be my last communication with my friends... so I just want to make it count, like was advised... should I state my reasons really, or just leave it??? My reasons are selfish...

I wanted to say that I really appreciate all of the advice given! Thank you EVERYONE! I understand that my elders will probably harrass me about my decission. I am very strong in my choice though so they can come at me if they want! Elder beware! lol!

Thank you guys especially for the advice about writting a letter to my friends BEFORE I send the letter to the elders! I never thought of that, Though i don't know why! lol There are several people that I definatly really care about that I want to formally let them know of my decission!

Another thing that I really appreciate is the reminder that I am not playing by THEIR rules anymore! This is MY game now! MY rules! MY life! thank you! I also really like the great abilility to be able to view sample letters so I can get an idea of where to start running though my mind. This is definatly something that I want to do! I know this! There is NO changing my mind! So to all of you and your help, I say, Much thanks! :)

I wanted to say thank you to everyone for reading this and giving me suggestions that I will definatly take into consideration! I appreciate it so much! I think I will be writting my letter very soon! Mostly because I know that if I do not, I will probably be DF'd anyway!

My non-witness bf and I were seen by a couple of my old friends the other day. I think it is funny that after them not coming to my door or calling me, that just 2 days after being seen, they stop at my door to try to catch me. Trying to be able to "invite me to the convention coming up," I guess. I am not home right now anyway. I saw the invitation in my door. I don't know who stoped by. But I thought it was funny! Besides if they really cared and wanted me at the convension, I think they would have told me about it before now! It is only about 2 weeks away! HA!!!!!!

Does the letter to my elders have to include curtain things? And how far in detail does it have to be? I don't want them calling on me to change my mind... Do I have to include that before they continue bugging me? Do they ever read the letter and tell the person that wrote it, that it isn't good enough reason and KEEP THEM!? Do the elders have to talk to me about my letter!? Please help.

Sorry, need to moan and belly ache

i normally try not to moan and belly ache here, but today i'm really down.

the other day i was kidding and joking about being "socially-challenged", it can be fun to do this... but sometimes it catches up to me.

i spend the vast majority of my evenings and weekends alone... movies, restaurants, community events, parties, you name it.

I know how it feels to feel socially limited. I feel that way as well. People take it as me being rude, or sad. But I am really doing neither. It is much easier to communicate online for me too. For some reason, I just let everything in me be there. I t times wish I was different too. It gets frusterating!

I hope that things turn out well.

why do i have to go to the meetings!

I used to go to the meetings and do the whole routine just to please my friends. I have no family there, so that wasn't the case for me. But I had friends like I had never had before. I felt horrible if I missed a few meetings because they seemed so disappointed. But in time, I stopped concerning them when it came to my meetings. If you go, it should be for Jehovah and not friends/family. WHen I came down to it, I would rather them be disappointed in me now instead of waiting til Armegedon. Looking around for me and disappointed that they thought I was so "holy", when I am not.

Haha! That is a great idea!!!! I have a lot of bound volumes that I got when an elderly sister moved and then passed away. I have no use for them, especially now! I can just sell em :p As far as the new book goes, I have one. Like was stated already, nothing really too special there. Just the normal boring stuff. I thought that pioneer school would help keep me in the "truth." and so did my elders. Ha! I stopped going just a few months after the school. I think I just realized more that it wasn't how I really wanted to spend my life.

I think everyone hates going to the meetings from time to time no matter how active you are or are not. What I don't understand is why my elders call me out of the blue sometimes to ask me to go out in service with them if I have not been to the hall in so long! If I haven't attended meetings in so long, why would I want to go door to door!? I obviously have changed! My friends are finally seeing that. I just resently confessed to the girl that helped teach me JWism that I have stopped believing in the things they teach. They get you into this friend trap it seems! They hypnotize you in a way that it seems so hard to leave.

@_@ We are your friends, we miss you! Join us! Come to our meetings and you will be happy too! You can live forever too! What if I don't care about living forever anymore, I wanna just be happy doing things I wanna do the way I wanna do em.

i just got news that my boyfriend that i was going to go see in a week died!!!!

i want to be able to communicate with his family that does not speak or read english!

can someone please help me translate a letter for them?

No. I never personally met him yet. This was to be our forst meeting. I saw him a few times on Webcam just so I knew for sure who I was talking to, and buying my tickets for. I saw the screen shot that that friend that saw him on sent me. I am doing some investigation before I go but I am having computer problems right now.

Thanks for the help all of you. QUestion... even if he blocked me, I would still be able to see the last time he signed on in the sign on log... right?
