Do you know of gross mistranslations in the JW Bible (NWT)
by greendawn infor all you that have studied the subject what are some big distortions of the original scriptures hebrew and greek, that are to be found in the jw bible (nwt)?
i found that at 1 thessalonians 4:15-17 it says that the living christians in the final days will be snatched up as soon as the dead ones get resurrected.
that blows up the jw belief that the said resurrection occured in 1918 because they weren't taken up at the same time.

Yes my Brother,
We know the meaning of the word, but as you already know,
People use same words for many different uses/meanings, and many times the meaning what they understand is the opposite of the truth.
Some will say: bad is good and good is bad.
For to many people, because of religious teachings, Love between man and woman was something dirty, shameful, taboo...
This is the opposite of the truth.
Love is something beautiful, wonderful, and not dirty.
For to many JW apostate is bad word, the friends will cry: " you will die at armagedon! You abandon Jehovah ! You abandon the truth ! You abandon Jesus Christ ! You abandon us, family friends !
So, to many of the milions who left out of conscience because of false teachings, this is a painful word, they are already have very low self-esteem, doubts, broken heart. The evil society has a long history of making trash out of something beautiful. Marriage and sex was painted as something shameful, selfish, dirty.
We all know why now. The only thing Right to do and glorified over and over and over was to slave more for the Borg, to pedlle more magazines of the dirty cult.
So, to label somebody apostate was the last kick to a person who was already bring to ruin by trying to practice JW cult. Everybody was avoiding this label like disease, because that is whot the Rapetower put in the minds of the JW cult members.

Why do you read the Literature?

The WT literature is opposite of true literature.
To many people this is just selpromoting sales pich, clever sales letter to convince people how "holy" they are, that they are the only one " Having the TRUTH !!! That is THE HOOK !!! and so many get hooked !!!
Like: my eggs are the best eggs on the plane !!! Even they are vipers eggs and are rotten, they are still the best !!!

Acording to Dictionary, apostate is a person who renounce/reject belief or theory/give up a habit/pursuit or practice/ to religious ( cooked up in Brooklin too), or political or alliegance.
Here come the question:

Apostasy in Bible terms mean walking away from Jesus Christ teaching. In that meaning was used by the first disciples of Jesus Christ.
Apostate is a Person leaving Jesus Christ Teachings.
People as always, love to twist the meanings of the words to suit them.
Today dictionary use the term in many different meanings. That is why we have so much confusion and misunderstanding between people.
Apostate tower like to label everybody their own cooked labels.
Eviltower IS apostate from true Christian Teachings. Russelltower was started as a business enterprise for profit, by seling books and magazines, with Religion as a Front store. Of course we know that a book will sell better if we say that it is "inspired by God".
They commited the sin to pretending to be a true Christian Religion, but in reality as we already know, They stray people AWAY from Jesus Christ to their man made cooked religion, their baloney literature, and constantly persecute people who stick to the Bible and Jesus Christ.
History show that Rapetower IS APOSTATE, False Prophet, and they will made Apostate from anyone believieng in their apostate literature and apostate techings. Just ask the milions of people who left the Borgtower.
To them, The Borg, The Rules invented BY THEM are the "HOLY Striptures",
not the Bible. holycowtower literature is more important to THEM, than the Bible. Eviltower is as far away from the truth as the West are from The East.
