  Do you know of gross mistranslations in the JW Bible (NWT)

  for all you that have studied the subject what are some big distortions of the original scriptures hebrew and greek, that are to be found in the jw bible (nwt)?

  i found that at 1 thessalonians 4:15-17 it says that the living christians in the final days will be snatched up as soon as the dead ones get resurrected.

  that blows up the jw belief that the said resurrection occured in 1918 because they weren't taken up at the same time.

  John 17:3 taking in knowledge....( forever, so to mislead you to study watchtower forever instead of the bible). How much bible reading and study really goes on? 12 % of the time ??? The rest is wasted on endles sales meeting and " Crapy talks" how to be obedient, obedient, obedient to the Borg, how to sell more magazines to get new clones ( anybody really is concern any more with really finding people and help them come to salvation thru Jesus Christ? ), endlesly studing endless stream of books, magazines, leters, new doctrins, chaned doctrins, corected doctrins, new light, old light, more bright light,...

  KJV of John 17:3 "And this is life eternal, that they may KNOW thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent. "

  Can you see the diference between knowing and taking in knowledge ?

  The NWT is as "holy" and accurate as the trashy magazines and the Rapetower. What good ca come from the mouth, mind and a hand of a False Prophet and a Liar ??? The translation in other languages are full not better.

  They produce so much crap good only for recycle paper to make tiole paper and vomit bags !

  Don't worry about that. I see JW milionaires in action all the time. They drive lexuses, BMW, live in villas, have yahts, partys ONLY for the rich brothers and they are Wise elders. And they will sell the crap to you how you should be poor, because you should preatch 145 hrs a week , because Armagedon is "Tomorow".

  To my mind come the picture in Matt 23:15 : "Woe into you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites ! for ye compas sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more thr child of hell than yourself.

  How true...

  If the religion is so good, why then people run from them as fast as they can ???

  WTS Letter: Tracking Down Displaced JWs

  shortly after the hurricanes hit the gulf coast region of the u.s. the wts organized committees and met with elders in the affected/surrounding states.

  one point of discussion was the damage assessment to khs and homes; the other point of discussion was locating displaced jws.. the wts is concerned about losing publishers.

  at the time it was stressed that if a displaced person or family moved into your area be sure to get at least name and former congregation and forward the information to wts.

  Welcome on board, sorry to hear that, but I know what you going thru, I was in same position.

  The question come to my mind thousand times: How this can be? How is that, that they study the bible 5 x a week, thousand times a year, and still we se so much rotten fruits in this religion ???

  But they always are quick to poit how OTHERS religions are, how but friuts they have ! Well, the time come to start doing their own dirty laundry first...

  Hang on, we are here for you, ours lifes are exactly the same.

  The first part of John 16:2 is also on time: " They shall put you out of the synagogues ( modern Kingdom Halls/ disfelloship/ to die forever at armagedon for not believing in a LIE)

  If they are realy honest they should disfeloship 100% of the people including themselves !

  What proportion of JW kids stay Witnesses? How about in your cong?

  the wts is currently growing at about 1.3 % which is similar to the global propulation growth rate.

  if all the jw kids stayed as jws then the religion could grow as quickly as it is now without any door knocking.. if in 2005 1.2 billion hours witnessing resulted in the religion only growing at the rate it should be naturally it suggests a lot a kids are leaving, or doorknocking is not having very good results.. of about 100 people born into the wts that i can remember in my congregations in australia about 3/4 of them have left.

  Somebody said about 50% kids run as fast as they can when they reach 18. I see that happenning. After 18 they just refused to listen to parents and go to KH, or any convention. The kids have more brains that some adults. They know what is going on.

  The "spiker" talks are : "we are SOOO concerned that so many of our children fade away from the truth".

  From the truth? How you can fade away from truth ???

  But you can RUN away from the Rapetower lies !!
